  1. To the first part -- woot! I'm getting good at identifying peppers. (pride) To the second part -- interesting! I would never have thought of doing that, and hadn't stumbled across that particular tip in my Googling of recipes, thanks for the insider tip.
  2. The Man in the High Castle, season 2 -- that was amazing.
  3. Onion, Garlic, Tomatillos on the bottom? Poblano in the middle? Jalapeño/Jabañero on the middle/right? Bell at the top? Just curious/nosy...
  4. David Gilmour's wife Polly on Saturday:
  5. What the L was that? There are more parts.
  6. Lollers, that looked like Engrish at first, "Eric Clapton ...At Their Best".
  7. Happy birthday, Jacob! (party favour noise)
  8. I need to track down that EP's 1988-1991 release, didn't realize it wasn't a bootleg. I have two of the EPs, but I think I need this anyway, because I've never heard Instrumental 2 before (and probably Instrumental 1).
  9. Been listening to stuff like this all week on the train and at work. For some reason, it's right up there with classical and ambient as allowing me to concentrate on my work and block out my coworkers.
  10. Happy birthday! (party favour noise)
  11. On Tidal. Oh my, he's fantastic.
  12. No, not where have you seen that quote before, when have you seen that quote before... You be The Constable, I'll be The Inspector...you've just got that cool Danny Glover thing more while I have that nerdy Danny Pudi thing more...
  13. Thanks for giving me as much lead time as anyone else, I missed that email. (I hope they don't sell out before I'm ready to purchase...)
  14. I thought this was a meniscus: ...but while searching for that image, I found out what the biological term meant. Oh, and best wishes.
  15. On deck to play next, thanks for the rec.
  16. Robert Hulseman, inventor of the red Solo cup ...either that or Death is about to go on vacation, and trying to get a bunch of stuff done ahead of time.
  17. I think the Koss 950s are considered the "excusable purchase".
  18. It almost seems like it's accelerating...I'm wondering if this is perception or if it's actually accelerating.
  19. Lots of classical music, centered on Kyung-Wha Chung. On Vivaldi's Seasons right now, but I really liked her album Con Amore as it was a bunch of unfamiliar material.
  20. Yeah, once it dies twice within a week, I'd say it probably doesn't hold charge no mo'. Depending on what you got when you bought it, they should give you a mostly/partial refund if it's less than a year old, just like tires. (It's been a while since I've done that -- the car usually goes before the battery -- so if they don't do that no mo', you didn't hear it from me.)
  21. She must've had her heart broken. Poor lady, what a terrible way to go.
