Damn, dude, you look good! <3 that black on black look...
-
Oh, you're exaggerating, it's just the Pennsylvania border...

Not eating right now, but still digesting. DuClaw had a sandwich on special today called the Sauve -- hamburger, chicken and bacon, plus fried onions. I thought to myself, now that sounds ... clubish-except-burger -- yes, I'll have that. "Comes with chips..." "Can I upgrade those to duck-fat fries?" It's not a burger, and certainly not a sandwich -- not even with air quotes -- not in any sense of the word. It was a 2-3 hungry people pile of meat and sauce and toppings with a top bun somewhere on top, and a bottom somewhere underneath. If you can eat this without the use of utensils, and not make a total pig of yourself, film it. You will become famous on the internet.

Went to the PRS 30th anniversary shindig. It was educational as well as fun. Little disappointing not being able to see everyone working (like last time, apparently).
-
That's the one, innit! Lollers...
-
No, the mock-British one. (I don't want to say it, because I can never remember it correctly, I always think the word 'tipple' is in there somewhere, and it isn't.)
-
I'm still waiting for someone to say That Catchphrase.
-
I'm still waffling.

Yeezh

I doubt they're going for the electrostatic sound, I suspect it's just an inevitable comparison point once you get into top tier headphones. It's like someone climbing a mountain, getting to the top, and seeing someone else already there.

You are correct sir. Well, blurple or black, just not ... that other thing that shall remain otherwise unnamed.

The Knuckledragger 3rd Memorial Slow Forum Post

You may have noticed I didn't say anything to the contrary. But I don't really care about what my cables look like. As long as they're black.
-
I don't know, you should email them and ask, Craig is pretty responsive. And: yeah, I'll probably still get it, but USB stick is the perfect 24/96 lossless delivery device for large quantities of music, so it just seems silly to come so close, and miss.
-
That's not the stock cable, that's the Kimber Kable cable. The stock cable is just a matte, non-coiled black cable, with these really nice-looking connectors on them (the connectors look to be the same). I'd connect to a picture of them, but all the pics I googled were on head-fi.
-
There was still another one available (on Yahoo auctions Japan, I think) when I bought mine through Kuboten over a month ago at this point. It wasn't very expensive at all. EDIT: Well that's just silly -- it comes with a USB drive, and they only put one song on it!
-
So apparently, they're balance-able. Set up to work with the Sony PHA-3 through....wait for it...yet another (set of) connector(s)! More words

Finished listening to that (Ringo Shiina or Sheena Ringo or whatever her name is, in glorious 24/96) Now listening to Life on Mars with none other than Life on Mars
-
(whimper)

Nope, it's the same thing in 24/96. And yes, I'd be all over the same thing for Tokyo Jihen. EDIT: Actually, this is a 6-disk set, this page says contents are as follows: Innocence Moratorium + A View of Happiness (single ver.) Winning Strip + Chastity at Midnight Kalk Samen Chestnut Flower + Stem Electric Discharge & Me (2-disc set) A Song of Apples (one song) EDIT #2: Also, does yours make a cute noise and then she says something when you pull the stuff out of the box?

Speaking of which, I just got the Shiina Ringo MoRA DVD boxset from Kuboten (knew exactly who it was from as soon as I saw the box).

Netflix streaming. Shelly, you should be careful, though, alcohol going through your sinus passages can be painful. I still remember Louis C.K.'s "Baby's first shart" bit... Me: Lost Girl -- this is fantastic. There's some flinch-worthy writing, and there's some really wedged-in (and dutifully acted) exposition, but everything else is so good. And some of the best one-liners since Buffy. "Don't get dead." "And just like that, you're right back to being an asshole." "I hate you long time." And the sidekick just makes the show. It's the classic dynamic -- tall dark and gloomy offset by small, quirky and perky offsetting TD&G's talldarkandgloominess, except I don't think I'd watch it without her. And shome very sheckshy, downright bunkworthy...

I got to ride in Jeff's new car. Hawt.

Happy birthday, Ben! (party favour noise) May no more neighbors burn down your home!
