  1. I almost share a label with him. I didn't make the final cut for the physical release of the Namlook tribute (Fax's founder), but I'll be on the digital release if we can get enough people to buy it. You can preorder it here. If you're going to go all out and buy the physical release, then like this Facebook post to indicate your interest in the full digital version (as opposed to a digital-only version of the physical release). In fact, like it no matter which version you buy, I think that's the only way he'll know there's interest.
  2. This Hutchinson Guitar Concepts Viking SG features Odin, his two ravens Huginn and Muninn, and at his feet his two wolves Geri and Freki.
  3. Lee Fields. Lots of Lee Fields.
  4. Regarding Ivan, your best bet is to just let it happen. It is honestly my belief that animals sense moods and feelings from their humans, and respond accordingly -- so if you anticipate that your cat will hate getting a bath, then it will hate getting a bath, for example, but if you just leave it to its own devices, it will bath itself quite naturally (in water, even). So send "vibes" of acceptance and love to both of them. That's pretty much all you can do. He looks like a domokun in those last two pics. Oh, and: you'll be fine!
  5. "Taste the rainbow." (makes rude 'manoomanoomano' sounds)
  6. Is there any other kind?
  7. Jerry's chicken cheese steak Sent from mah phone-blet via Tapatalk
  8. The dog breaks the fourth wall a lot, whereas the kitten appears to be totally method.
  9. Lee Fields, Let's Talk it Over ...pretty much exactly what you should expect, based on that album cover.
  10. Unless it was a raffle.
  11. Listening now -- I already like the first several seconds. EDIT: It's a bit 'happier' than I'm used to, but right now I'm enjoying it.
  12. Pete Namlook tribute album fan submissions -- I didn't make the final cut on the physical release, but they need a certain amount of pre-orders before they'll master it for a digital release....mine is "larzotog", easily the shortest of the bunch.
  13. Katatonia, Dethroned & Uncrowned -- very different, their take on a "soft album" (e.g., Damnation)
  14. Listened to the new Fates Warning -- Dusty like! Not enough clean vocals + rawk in the world (this being exactly that). Too bad the closest they are touring is Reading, PA. Now listening to Omar Rodriguez Lopez, Un Escorpion Perfumado -- so great
  15. Aw, really? I didn't think he was old enough to worry about yet...
  16. Yeezh, dude. Sympathies.
  17. I don't know, I'd have to A/B them -- I'm still hearing some serious clipping, but (a) I'm still listening to it, so it is listenable, and (b ) I'm listening on a completely different system than I did then, so it be being euphonized. Cheers for doing that, Graham. Thought I'd compare it to Snakes and Ladders -- which, although very compressed, is still quite listenable. I consider S&L to be compressed the way we would expect a contemporary rock'n'roll record to be -- perhaps a little harsh. Vapor Trails Remixed is still worse.
  18. Lorde was first (did you know she was only 16?) -- definitely like her hiptronica-tinged take on Fiona Apple-esque singer-songwriting alto... Then started Fates Warning, but taking a detour through Rush, will then return to Fates Warning...
