  1. Placebo, Loud Like Love -- special full album stream preview. EDIT: This is so great. Nothing gets me going like some good, hooky rock. Hard pop. Whatever you want to call it. Couple ballads thrown in ("Hold on to Me", "Bosco").
  2. I think the bigger problem is enclosure. Make it modular. Sent from mah phone-blet via Tapatalk
  3. Hope so, too, Shelly.
  4. Yeah, that's probably next for me.
  5. Eddie Izzard: Live from Wembley -- high. Larry. us. Fucking hilarious.
  6. Accurately titled YouTube videos:
  7. The best part about this is that all the comments are quoting the show.
  8. Goldfrapp, Seventh Tree -- I think I'm about to go on a the-other-side-of-Goldfrapp binge (the more synthpoppy side). Oh, and in the car: Karnivool, Asymmetry
  9. Those two and Stonehedge were my two favourites as well. Work It is like They Might Be Giants more instructional songs meets Lonely Island's sense of perversion. Three favourites. Four favourites (if you include WTFS).
  10. I suspect the operator.
  11. a new song by the Gathering -- it's really pretty
  12. At its core, I don't think they're that different. I think what makes them seem so different are the apps that one uses the most. That said, I haven't used iOS in a few years. The difference between linux (Ubuntu) and Windows, on the other hand, remains large. I really like linux's ability to update everything through a common interface, whereas Windows' will only update Microsoft products. I think everything else is a case of familiarity.
  13. Knucks' Macintop is kaput again, so we fill in until he back. Darth Vader, unicycling, playing bagpipes...
  14. Damn, you got off lucky. Keep telling yourself: it could have been worse.
  15. Fuck that was good. Completely over-produced deliciously. Now: Goldfrapp, Felt Mountain -- thanks for keying me in, Ian, for some reason I thought it was a recent trend, but it seems like they do this every couple albums, neh? Almost every other album, but they skipped one between Black Cherry and Supernature.
  16. Suxorz. Sympathies. But on the bright side, you no longer have to dwell on which headphone gear to keep and which one to sell. If you were even considering selling it, sell it. Time to pare down anyway, neh? (Hint: just keep telling yourself that -- I call it brainwashing, but really you're just retraining the brain.) It's just stuff.
  17. Zombie Engagement photo shoot Save Walter White
  18. How can one not love an iconoclast? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXhIgleAOoM
  19. A Storm of Light, Nations to Flames, full album stream -- RIYL Land/Mind -era Ministry
  20. Rest in Peace, oh maker of the blacker background.
  21. I just meant it was different. I don't think I could rank one over the other -- when I'm in the mood for synthpop, this one won't cut it, and vice versa.
