Al -- so many jokes, but I will refrain -- what Nate and Shelly said -- wishing you a minimum of discomfort and ultimate realization of your ...um...no, I said I'd refrain...sorry...
Vicki -- you'll get over the self-recriminations -- much more rewarding to have a house paid off than forget to pay -- I've never had, but I've had a car paid off (in fact, I've always had my car paid off since the 80's), and even that is a pretty good feeling.
Dude, it's not even February, nice.
You're one of those people who have their christmas shopping done before Thanksgiving, and then is thankful for having it done at the table, aren't you?
You really should use a separate filter for that. Does it make it taste like good vodka or bad vodka?
(squints)
Not sure if kidding or win.
EDIT: lollers, if you type "brita filter" and let google suggest searches, the 3rd choice (2nd if you don't include "brita filter" itself), is "brita filter vodka". Apparently there was a Mythbusters episode.
Antimatter -- oh yeah, that was their "departure" album. Didn't like as much, but still liked if I had heard it and it was another band. Clean singing FTW.
Okay, first impressions -- they seem to have traded in space for melody -- me likey -- that instrumental break in um..."Deprived", I think -- that was particularly wonderful. Will definitely give it some more spins.
Noted. Tried looking them up on Spotify, nada. Will have to look elsewhere.
Me: Riverside, Shrine of New Generation Slaves
I do, indeed, like it, but needs moar space. Oh well, it's not over yet. I do see one song that's over 8 minutes and another that's over 12 coming up, so I am hopeful.
I have heard the new Antimatter, but have been not following leaks lately (I just don't have the time), so probably won't hear the Steven Wilson until it comes out properly in February, and did not pre-order the Riverside (I don't think -- I should double-check before I accidentally order it twice), so will probably not hear it until later this week...I will order it today if I haven't.
