  1. I still hate it when that happens. Yeezh to you, too.
  2. Me: Bat for Lashes, The Haunted Man Thank you.
  3. Yeezh, man. Glad it wasn't worse.
  4. Was: Edison's Children, In the Last Waking Moments... Is: Nordagust, In the Mist of Morning About to be: The Black Noodle Project, Eleonore Really good day, musically, if one is into this particular genre (music ranging the gamut from metal -- through "spacey" and "proggy" -- to acoustic, largely in minor keys).
  5. Happy Birthday! (party favor noise)
  6. They're making Lost into a reality show?
  7. Muse: The 2nd Law and Resistance.
  8. Okay, this is just retarded. They seem to draw the conclusion that looking at pictures of cute cats leads to improved work performance. My theory is that pictures of cute cats just make for a better reward, and it's the "better reward" that led to improved work performance. I bet if it was cute cats vs. rent money, the people getting rent money would do better.
  9. Didn't feel like starting yet another fake Beatses thread, so thought I'd just throw this here: Yes, 'Zoro'
  10. plain old chicken kabob -- I love chicken
  11. Ihrsahn, Eremita -- it's in my GoldBox personal items, so seeing if I want. Will probably not. They also have Baroness, Yellow & Green, which I am definitely getting, Arjen Anthony Lucassen's Lost in the New Real, which I am probably getting, Morse/Portnoy/George's Cover 2 Cover which I have no idea, and Edison's Children's In the Last Waking Moments... which I need to preview. So...bunch of previewing for me today.
  12. My implication was that if you could get in, he could get out, no? Birgir -- splinters and fingernails and the application of one underneath the other make me think of interrogations, that's what I meant. Me: I explained myself.
  13. Yeah, well, you're new. We're a bunch of mutual high-fi addict enablers, here. My wallet don't want to hear no mo', neither, but I still do.
  14. Wait, so you broke through the barricade?
  15. Wow *2+1&c. spritzer -- that made my buttcheeks clench just looking at that. Did you tell them yourself anything?
  16. Oh great googly moogly you can't prep a set with vinyl...I have no advice, only sympathy...
  17. In car -- Unexpect, Fables of the Sleepless Empire -- just what you'd expect from unExpect -- over-caffeinated barely reigned-in chaos. More changes per capita than any other band I know, and they have like 6 members. At home/Spotify -- Pineapple Thief -- just letting it go, in whatever order Spotify feels like. Right now that's "What Have We Sown?" from What We Have Sown.
  18. Pineapple Thief, All the Wars
  19. Would love to hear more about this.
  20. Jethro Tull, Broadsword and the Beast -- easily my favourite of the post-chaotic-upheaval albums (although A has a special place because ( a ) Eddie Jobson, and ( b ) it's so hated by so many other Jethro Tull fans, and ( c ) I really like it and still do).
  21. What is this? I don't even...
  22. 's'truth. Half you guys stop posting when you get together anyway, so black pot meet black kettle. I've totally gotten over the drink vicariously thing -- nows I drinks for realz.
  23. Rodrigo y Gabriella y C.U.B.A., Area 52 ...thinking of putting on some Hybrid next, I loves me some Hybrid.
  24. $8,000 is not totaled? What the L do you drive? I think my Suzuki went under $8,000 as soon as I drove it off the lot, and that's the most valuable car I've owned in over a decade, going on two. Sorry, I need to remind myself that this is not always about me me me me me.
  25. I actually know a Mormon whose first marriage did not work out, and the second one is still going strong, so if he were to add to this thread, it would have been +15+24.
