"...squirrel apocalypse...battle royale..." Dude, you missed your calling.
  2. I don't know what the fuck kind of music that is, but I'm looking it up right after I get out of head-case.

    It's not a 'guy', it's a 'mode' -- he grabs whoever's handy.
  4. ReVamp -- friggin' rawkin' gothish metal -- srsly, Colin, you gotta check this out: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=FC9EAA336042F484
  5. I was going to give him the, "try being good in bed", but that was better. 'cause you know like that's funny.

I bet that's particularly sweet for you.
  7. I'd be lying if I said I knew for sure, but -- as with Shelly -- I "allowed for the possibility". Oh, and can I be the first? EDIT: ...er... to say this: Wait for it. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
  8. Yeah, me too. I have to admit that when you (Shelly) were so careful to use the word 'partner' all the time, I allowed for the possibility of you being gay. I've had others say the same thing of me -- a girl thought I was gay because (a) I never showed any interest in her, ( I showed more interest in her boyfriend, © I always showed up alone, and (d) my choice of words. I don't remember using 'partner' all the time, I'm not sure what word or words I did use, but I also (e) didn't care what she thought, and that's probably what she sensed the most, she just misinterpreted it. Yeah, I don't know what a good word is, though I can see some people having issue with husband if he isn't, same as if you were straight. I've heard, 'boyfriend', but I can't help but be brought to mind of a movie (I forget which, but it was something like that Jack Nicholson/Helen Hunt one, with the cross-generational relationship. At one point, the older main character says to a secondary older character, something about a boyfriend. She says, "at our age, we don't have boyfriends or girlfriends, we have lovers". So...'lover', maybe? I don't know what kind of person you are, it may not be 'you', but it certainly works, and is sex-neutral...er...that is, it's gender-neutral, although probably a bit too TMI in terms of sexual activity. I think more straight people should use 'partner', that would eventually leave to no problem. Then there's the whole "PASLQ" (pronounced poss-el-cue) idea ('person of the appropriate sex sharing same living quarters')...but the problem stems from the fact that if you are evasive at all about the gender of your partner, it sounds like you're being evasive. There's no getting around that. So I don't have a solution. And now I'm babbling.
  9. Stonyfield Organic Oikos Organic Greek Yogurt w/honey on the bottom. Yes, I said, "honey on the bottom".
  10. Damnit, I was hoping to be able to make a snarky Beelee comment, but I can't. Huzzah on coming out.
  11. Oh. "acoustical bandpass crossover", just like he said. :|

Rounding error -- I got my prices from the online shop -- 1748-1149=599, but the latter half of your post renders that moot.
  13. No, I think Colin meant the old crossover -- it wouldn't have anywhere near the capability that the JH3A has, it'd just make it back into a 'plain' JH13/JH16. Or at least, that's what I meant. It's the same drivers, so the only difference is, what is between the drivers and your source.

    Canjam 2010.

That's pretty sweet. I'm thinking they should charge you somewhere between $599 (difference between retail of JH16 straight and JH3a/JH16 combo) and $1099 (price of JH3a + rebuilding your JH16). Probably closer to $599.
  15. I vaguely remember someone saying that if you have a large amount of files, that really dbpoweramp is the only way to go, and there really isn't any alternative. Someone confirm or deny -- I haven't actually done this myself.

    Canjam 2010.

Did you really?!?!? So are you going to be getting a discount, since they technically don't have to rebuild them to do JH-3A thing, or do you want JH13's modified for the JH3A...or are you going to sell them so that you can get two sets of JH13's, or whut?
  17. "...with my mouse"? I'm taking this back. Now that I understand what he's doing, I realize there's no reason he can't build an external passive crossover that is exactly the same as what's in the current JH13 &&/|| JH16.

They have one called Pandora's Box? I have had a couple (Bashah collab w/Stone; don't remember what else, maybe nothing) and have a couple waiting to be tried (Paradox Islay, Hard Core, Punk, a couple others)... Actually, I think there is, to attend canjam, but I thought it should be reinforced on the table signs. Not that anyone doesn't think they know everything about how to handle equipment. I don't think it's a new rule.
  19. That's tight.
  20. There's something wrong with this. If the sound gets better by pressing them in, if they sound muffled and congested normally, I would normally associate that with them not being in properly. Try this: try putting them in further, and pulling them out some, and wiggling them around. Have you ever had IEM's before? I'm thinking you don't have them all the way in. Think about when you got the impressions -- they basically should be in exactly like that.

Or that he didn't get electric shock therapy -- I mean, really, do people really not know the dangers of said combination? Some things just bear repeating. Everyone should put on their sign for tomorrow -- "no wet or greasy hair!" I wasn't me -- I don't have hair to get wet.
