The trick is they're almost never put up for sale. I'd buy a set for $30 just ot hear them tho, so I could finally have heard a grado lower in the lineup than the 225.

no way would I get power stuff over a good source. Not a chance. Nor expensive cables, fancy stands, etc. -
cheapest isn't the best value, generally speaking. Especially if resale is harder.

They don't have the 32gb at costco. I don't know how much the 16gbs are, I only looked at the 8. i kinda lean in the "if it can't hold it all, it may as well be cheap" direction.

you can de-region it with mac the ripper on the mac, and there are programs out to extract audio. But I've not done it, so I can only point you in that direction. -
costco has new ipod touch 8gb for $189. Better deal than the refurbs from apple.

You'll find a pair of sr225s used more easily than sr60s, and they resell quickly. So they're almost no risk at all. And watch for a bit and you can generally find them for $150 with flats, or $140 without.

I'd recommend getting 225s if you can find them used and afford it. Those are the easiest to resell, and are, in my opinion, the sweet spot in the lineup.
