obviously it's not necessary. But some people want to make sure, so they spend the money. Maybe they're right, maybe there is information up above where any microphone or recorder is rated to process. Maybe it even makes things better.

that's basically what they say they're doing. There's no information above 22khz, so the entire spectrum over 44k sample rate is empty, or just noise, so they can ignore it. Thus bringing things to cd sample rates...

nope, it works really well for the amazon ecosystem. Way better than the amazon apps on my dvd player etc.

For me the Fire TV Stick and the AppleTV are complementary devices. If Apple ever opens up the appletv to outside developers I won't need the firestick.

it was. I was just winging it, because we didn't have anything thawed out, so I just threw the tenderloins in the cooker for 2 hrs. Turned out great. The mashed potatoes turned out pretty good too. I'm really liking this thing.
