And now what did you do TODAY?
I actually may end up putting up some absorptive material when I move, in case the neighbors complain about my practicing.

And now what did you do TODAY?
Wedges are for absorption but yeah, I just meant in terms of the entire walls/floor/ceiling covered in acoustic panels.

How long until the room looks like this?

mains connected sexual toys
Wow, needing a pair of dildos means you've got a pretty loose hole. 'Some other gears' wouldn't happen to be another pair, would they? Would make sense for horizontal and vertical symmetry.

Hang in there, and best of luck with any impending surgeries and moves.

Losing my ass!
Calories in vs calories out is the most basic diet plan and a great start for anyone and everyone. Taking it one step further is IIFYM (if it fits your macros) and then another step would be more specific components of each macronutrient, e.g. simple carbs vs complex carbs and how it affects insulin levels/sensitivity. Intermittent fasting timed around workouts is also another method to lose weight or even do a body recomp (check out LeanGains). One level further than that is something I don't recommend, called ketogenesis, where the body is forced to break down fat due to absence of carbs, though there are subcategories that are milder like cyclic and targeted keto diet.

QUAD's new "FLOAT QA" headphones coming to the New York Show
Yeah I get how the temple pads on the K1ks could be uncomfortable for some. But then again, I've found that a lot of people don't even know that they slide out and how to adjust the toe in without destroying the locking mechanisms. It was an example of how a bigger earspeaker type design could incorporate adjustments, certainly there are other ways. Also agreed on the very different presentations and shortcomings. Actually the PS2s have an extremely smooth presentation that I haven't heard on any other electrostatics, save for my 'stat speakers. Also the "sandwich" of materials they use for the driver (with the screens and the foam) changes the sound, which is why I want to get them refurb'd by the company themselves, to hear what they think it should sound like.

QUAD's new "FLOAT QA" headphones coming to the New York Show
That's what sucks about the Floats, there is nothing to adjust so you have to have a specific head size range. They should've spent their research money figuring out an adjustable design (eg K1000 style), it would have a bigger effect on sound and comfort than anything they tried. I think you would find the PS2s to sound better than the PS0s, they sound decent to me. Certainly not on the level of the Omegas, so the new design would have to be drastically different to come close. Doesn't look like it though, it really does look like someone like our resident Duggeh had a couple hours and a few quid to spare and cooked something up on the fly. Reserving judgment on the sound until I hear it, of course.

Graphene Headphones
http://www.gizmodo.co.uk/2013/03/making-salt-water-drinkable-just-got-99-percent-cheaper/ 1000 times stronger than steel by weight doesn't seem so bad. Not sure how accurate the article is, so I went on wikipedia (a clearly much more credible source) and found this: As of 2009, graphene appears to be one of the strongest materials ever tested. Measurements have shown that graphene has a breaking strength over 100 times greater than a hypothetical steel film of the same (incredibly thin) thickness,[145] with a tensile modulus (stiffness) of 1 TPa (150,000,000 psi). BoPET wiki article says it's approximately 4 GPa. Edit: Original headphone article also says 100 times stronger, not 1000.

And now what did you do TODAY?
Heh, I was hoping there would be a solution that didn't involve a few months of recovery. But yeah that is a possibility. And I'm still pretty clear on how I broke it the first time, so no tutorial needed.

And now what did you do TODAY?
Feel better, peeps. I recovered from a really bad three week flu like a week ago. Also in the theme of the last few pages, anyone know anything about some sort of PT or brace or something that can bend a collarbone straight again? Fractured my collarbone like 10 years ago and it didn't heal straight which means my left shoulder is slightly lower and pulled forward, and it bothers me sometimes.
