Yikes. Have to say I prefer the standard format on my iPhone. Is there a way to not default to the Mobile theme when on a mobile device?

In his defense, OS X handles audio a fair bit better than the alternative, which is one of the reasons why it's pretty much the default for pro apps.

Which in itself would be worth a fair bit to me. I'm sorry that they decided to limit the Mini version at 24/96, though. I know you have to differentiate, but I don't think that was the place to do it.
