Happy father's day to all the father's out there, having a nice relaxing sunday with all family members as usual
  12. I've tried many newsreaders, Forte, News Leecher, Newsman Pro, newsbin, Agent, Newsrover, Grabit, hogwasher, etc. The best luck I've had so far is with Forte, saving the posts I want as nzbs and loading them unto sabnzbd, newsman pro worked great since it saved and showed large posts in a collapsable thread, and it automatically saved them unto a specific folder without specifying, so you could easily download an entire newsgroup. It's too bad that it was extremely slow, and very unefficient. One big problem is that downloading/par2/unrar from usenet is hd depedent, so that might be why it slows your computer down to a crawl, you can try putting par2/unrar unto a storage drive so this doesn't happen(or getting an ssd). I know some of these are not available on mac, but maybe this will be of some use to you.
  13. Did you already have this psu from something else? It's way more than the computer will use, a 500W even 430 should be enough
  14. lol 10/10 I wish I'd get tv/phone/internet for $100. Right now I get only 3Mbps/phone for $90 and you have to add cellphone calls to that phone plan... :S
  15. Ahhhh... I've played this game in all of the origin stories, my fav are city elf and noble dwarf. Human noble is also good. You might have a great time with this game with lots of playthroughs or you might not finish it. Either way I recommend it to anyone, including the expansion the dlcs not so much.... Last item I bought was a 2TB Samsung F3, and an Intel X25M-G2 160GB

  20. Leave firefox with those tabs on for a while and you'll see it might be around 300mb memory usage
  21. ahh, you might need an extension for that(session manager or something), didn't understand what you meant before
  22. in chromeplus you can clear either the browsing history or the cookies or both, if I were to clear my cookies, I would have to log back in, but the browser would remember the posts that I've already visited.
  23. Have you tried chromeplus? a lot of chrome features without the google checking out what you're doing, also that clear browsing history you mentioned works the same way as the one in firefox
  24. I've got a pair of these too, they work well but are slow, were these on sale? why didn't you go for the samsung f3? Oh and what are you using as a NAS?
