I bought a refurbished nano and the best thing that ever happened to it was when I left it in my jeans and my girfriend accidently put those jeans in the washing machine. Just one small experience though. -

Could be the chemicals used to treat the wood or in keeping pests away, I know there is untreated lumber but for exotic woods I don't know.

Firefighters said the electricity used to power hybrids require high-voltage wiring. That means firefighters can't use metal-crushing or wire-splitting tools to rescue people trapped inside. Edit: just read they are learning how to work around this though -

If you look at the Richard Pierce review on amazon for this book it sums up exactly what I think of this book. Exceptionally clear writing and highly recommended.

Just finished Crichton's State of Fear certainly not Shakespeare but Holy Crap this should be required reading for every college freshman. Highly recommended, one of the most important books of the century. Finally an educated multiperspectival view of the environment and our relationship to it, packed with facts and readily denouncing myths and well intentioned ignorance.
