That is an awesome deal, I have not heard the player unmodded but I had a chance to compare it with an exemplar 3910, and the exemplar was better at the top and bottom and a little more precise (an excellent player) but I thought the moon had better mids and was more musical to my ears.

Let me know how it sounds with the Buffalo, I have the same player (with the stage 3 mods).
