  1. I think it falls under the heading of "just because it's out there doesn't mean that it has to be advertised". P.s. Imagine the damage that Jagwire could do with a phone number!?!!
  2. Zack, It might be wise to wait for some impressions from people after Justin rolls out the new modules. I'm not trying to imply that it'll be anything but great sounding but the signature of the amp may have changed as a result. My 2?, Nate
  3. Unlike Jahn I actually try to work at work so I can't read everything . And I thought I sucked at the web .
  4. Taken from the 07 National Meet thread... Bwaaaaaaaaahahahhaha. Looks like Jay has a new best friend! Or is it that he's too young to fly by himeslf?
  5. It's too bad you're locked into the multiple inputs thing Zachk I think there's going to be a very nice Mapletree Ear+ HD for sale soon which I think would make a great amp for you. But it only has one input . Just something else to consider if you are willing to sacrifice a few things in the name of great sound.

    Hello

Shenanigans, I call shenanigans. She's softcore at best on most days, unless you have access to her early work, when she was a dirty, dirty girl (god bless her heart).
  8. And here this whole time I thought you guys were talking about Moist Vagina the song...
  9. Oh nos, teh 13 yr old is going to see us talking about him... Seriously, maybe it'll encourage him to act his age.
  10. That's a serious amount of sunshine to be blowing up someone's ass, docha think?
  11. Speaking of Jagwire, looks like he's lobbying to become a Headcase member... * * *
  12. Nah, no Sony for me again for a while, ask Haj about the saga of the sony. It'd be safe to say that if I ever hold a meet we might get to go Office Space on a Sony DVD player. I wasn't going to mention what my player was for fear of derailng the thread again and incurring the wrath of Yikes! But since you asked... I picked up Arch's used NAD C541i and I'm going to run it through some of the mods that Voodoochile did to his. I know he was pretty happy with it and only upgraded when Haj sold him his Electroinsanity. Yes, just as you go vinyl I might have a semi-respectable digital source again.
  13. Nice! My new-to-me, soon-to-be-modded player should be here tomorrow!
  14. Again, I would just say it is completely dependent on the law you choose to break. Well, based on that paragraph I'd guess you and I are pretty similar, we just happen to be at odds on this issue. Enough serious talk for one day.
  15. No I don't, I'm generally a "5-over" speeder. If I'm just cruising and the road is clear I'll often ride close the speed limit but given today's traffic habits I find it to be more dangerous going the speed limit that to be going the speed of traffic, especially on a bike. As with everything there is a degree of grey area that most people would consider reasonable, in this case I don't see that operating a vehicle without the proper license is in my personal grey area.
  16. Sure, you don't have to agree with all of the laws but wouldn't you still be bound to obey the laws and take the prescribed action set forth to try and get them changed? Once you start picking and choosing which laws to self-enforce you're sort of circumventing the whole point of having laws, aren't you?
  17. I don't think it makes you an asshole but in my head it goes like this: you either believe in the rule of law or you do not. It is law that in order to operate a motorcycle you must carry the proper endorsement. If you want the benefits that our laws afford you then you should be willing to abide those that inconvenience you. I'm not perfect, far from it, and I'm sure I don't abide 100% by the laws of the land but I try to deal with simple shit like this.
  18. True, but if some chucklehead can't even do that do you really want them out on the road pointing a 185mph missile at your car/truck/whatever? I don't really say any of this in the interest of protecting others, I'm guarding my own ass here. If all accidents only involved the dipshit that caused them I probably wouldn't care, it's the collateral damage that pisses me off the most.
  19. If you honestly believe that your insurance company treats you as an individual rather than anything other than a set of parameters nothing I say to you is going to convince you otherwise. But trust me, you are a series of checkboxes and multiple choice questions nothing else. Well, I think here we'll just have to agree to disagree. I agree that boots, proper jacket, pants, gloves and eye protection are imporant but as to the likelihod that a helmet will make a crash worse you have to ask yourself, would you rather have a neck injury or brain trauma?
  20. No offense, but that's a pretty close-minded view on the scenario. If insurance companies would offer incentives for wearing a helmet or have a right to deny coverage for riders that chose not to wear one I'd be right with you. But the fact is that riders who chose to operate a motorcycle without even the most basic safety equipment affect everyone. When your minor accident with a helmet becomes a major one without it that has a ripple effect, whether you want to admit it or not. I'm not trying in infringe on your rights, I just have no interest in paying for your privilege through my insurance premiums.
  21. Not sure if you're serious but really, it's no different than requiring driver's ed for anyone who wants to drive a car. Motorcycle does not equal car, therefore more training required. It takes one weekend to complete the BRC through MSF. I'm not trying to limit who can or can't get a license but allowing little timmy to get a permit and then pilot the world's fastest road going two-wheeled vehicle with no training is a little crazy, doncha think? I'm waiting for a law suit against a mcycle manufacturer for selling a bike to someone that couldn't handle it...
  22. Special license, not really, but you are required to have a "motorcycle endorsement" on your normal license. As far as I know every state in the union requires that you take at least a skills test before you can get your motorcycle endorsement. Most require both a written and riding test before getting your permanent endorsement. Unfortunately this really provides inadequate education about how to properly operate a motorcycle, I'm of the opinoin that an MSF course should be mandated. It'd make my insurance rates go down, that's for sure. Nothing like a 50 year old who's never ridden before getting his permit, a 700# harley and killing himself to drive up premiums, unless you want to talk about 16 year olds on 180mph rockets like the 'busa...
  23. And now we find out that it's likely he didn't even have an MC license... Stupid is as stupid does. Hey Yikes, what do you think of the 'busa as a "beginners bike"...
  24. I have to admit, I find this video hiliarous. Ask a Ninja: Episode 17
