If he's cool with Posty, he's cool with me. Whatup Icculus, welcome to HC.

Pretty easy to figure out why Pak took me by 28 this week. His starting WR's went for 42 while mine put up 5. I also made a slight mistake by keeping Beanie Wells as my second RB prior to the early games starting, and by the time I found out he was sitting out the Cards v. Ravens game I could only swap in Steven Jackson who I knew wasn't going to be productive at all (injury + Ravens D/ST = bad). I guess my only other swap then would've been Jordy Nelson and he didn't have a great day either. And I can't really complain about 27 from Aaron Rodgers, but he had 17 after the 1st quarter so it actually was a letdown that he fell back to earth in the second half.

Firestone Walker Parabola. Better than KBS? Quite possibly yes. Sweeter, more tannic, amazing mouthfeel.

Looks adequately-badass doug. Best of luck with the start of the venture!

Jesus Stretch, that is sick. *drools all over self*

John and I got together today for a head-case oak park meet. Went to lunch, bought beer, then came back and previewed some stuff for an upcoming tasting. Cheers guys!

Won't be able to make this one unfortunately, I start work the following Monday (the 21st). Have a great time folks! x2 with Pak on the hologram machine.

Well, week one went alright but came at a price. I lost Marques Colston for the next 4 weeks and Steven Jackson for at least 1. Both my backup WR's did well week 1 though so I have a good option for my flex. At the moment my line is +3 against Jeff.

In the process of making my somewhat-experimental three bean apple chili. The apple is the experimental part. I know the recipe is good otherwise so we'll see what happens.

No, it's mostly just awesome. This clip pretty much sums up how most of us feel when you post in the drinking thread, Mikey... ~~~ Allison and I bought a wall clock at like 80% off at Target the other day. I like it a bunch. Lastly, nice pickup Pak!

Had my first day of work last night. Mostly just stupid sales training and orientation, but it felt really nice to know that I'll be making at least a little money to help out. Thanks for the congrats from a few days ago, fellas. Yes, they carry a number of products I didn't think of that I will probably buy once my employee discount kicks in. Really need a vacuum sealer for beer/wine leftovers and some drying mats for glassware. Hell, maybe some glassware to go with those mats while I'm at it. Colin - looked for and couldn't find the Sous Vide Supreme. Must be in their online "Beyond" store. Brent - hope day #2 goes better for ya. Just gotta keep on keeping on.

Founders Russian Imperial Stout, to celebrate some truly fall-like weather here in the midwest. Only one bottle of this one left, ah!

Let me know what you think about this one Scott. I thought it sounded pretty terrible at first but an acquaintance of mine who's the beer guy at my local store assured me it was excellent. I guess I don't really like tea to begin with so it's probably doomed in my book.
