256Gb Crucial M4 SSD

I bought a 256GB Crucial M4 earlier today. Its on sale from Amazon. The new firmware increased speeds another 20-32% in August. Now I just need a new laptop or a SATA iii card. http://www.amazon.co...2/dp/B004W2JL2A I still have a an OCZ Agility 60Gb thats going strong. It seems their newer iterations have had major problems, but have a new firmware version as well that is supposed to cure the bluescreen problems and such. Seems like it worked, no complaints in the last three weeks from users on the OCZ forums.

Whale, you can try this: - Disable HyperThreading in BIOS - If you have a dual core CPU, manually set Affinity in task manager to 1 core . - Uninstall AMD CAP profiles (Make sure to uninstall the video driver also and clean the registry, reinstall driver when done.)

I'm guessing this happens offline, so the internet is out of the question. If the fans are working (especially the card fan) and temps are in check, no real-time virus scanner creating the problem, the video card is in the correct first open PCI-E x 16 slot with both power inputs securely fastened,the power supply is adequate, hard drive reports no errors on a drive scan, firmware and drivers on motherboard, hard drive, and video card are up to date, the clock is correctly set on the RAM, memtest86++ checks out, there is enough RAM installed, and the CPU isn't overclocked with hyperthreading enabled, than I don't know what it could be other than what others have already suggested.

I said "sort of" because I know it can't be crossfire, but that is how whale described it to me. Said that turning the refresh rate to 120hz should fix the problem. I've never heard of such a thing. It seems much more likely to be a polling issue on the mouse to me as well, I seriously doubt the video card is causing the lag. I don't even remember the computers specs.

I thought you had this figured out when you realized you were doing a sort of crossfire with your CPU's GPU and your video card causing a stutter. Did you ever try disabling one of the two in the device manager and seeing what that changed? Maybe try moving the video card to another PCI-e slot?

I only applied to two and one was a community college. I knew where I wanted to go, so community college offered a scholarship and was to be used to transfer into university in case I did not get accepted immediately. I did not need to go that route, but it would have saved a lot of money if I had had to transfer in.

I've just started watching the new season with the first two episodes and its still keeping me entertained as it picks up pace. Its hard to watch this show and not have a drink.

The Galaxy Nexus is going to be something different. The hardware acceleration should make a difference with its slightly elderly GPU, the rest of the specs are great. This is the first phone that will have its software compiled straight by Google and distributed by them or Verizon. It may have bloatware, but ice cream sandwich will let you disable it. You should now have all the features of honeycomb and more on your phone (USB hosting is a major one). Basically, this is a very large step. No other phone will be getting close to it in features until near the end of first quarter 2012 it seems.

They focused on character development. They failed at thickening up impressions of the characters and came off shallow to me.

Soap opera with real tension. The characters are steadily losing development and the reactions to previous events seem uneven to me. I hope they save their budget on this somehow, I'd hate to see this causing their great series lose out.
