Welcome back Sherwood, had been wondering who you were stalking nowadays. I've heard apple products go bad more quickly around other bad apple products. Something about electron pheromones or some such. Sorry you have had such ridiculously shitty luck.

If your not as concerned about size, there was also this for $30 that seems pretty tempting: Moneual Lab 2.4GHz RF Wireless Computer Keyboard at Xoxide! Notice the trackball, reviews said it was pretty solid. Seems much better for data entry.

The Live Music Thread
/me is jealous I saw the XX last Thursday at the Cat's Cradle in Chapel Hill. It was a really great show, not high energy, but high on emotions. Going back tonight for Major Lazer. I'm sure that show will also be high on something.

Video Transcoding Help - mkv to avi to DVD?
I've also been ripping a ton of BR. To me, its a lot easier I think then taking an MKV and transcoding it for DVD on a PC it seems (I'm a fan of just taking direct stream rips and only encoding the audio). I'm also interested in good ways to do this, AVI2DVD seems like a good choice. http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_mkv_to_dvd_with_freeware.cfm

Hello to all.
I can't imagine having a raccoon as a pet. I am still wary of approaching raccoons after I had a random incident once as a kid after I went to sleep once during that summer after leaving gold tin wrap in front of my open window. My dad had a camouflage RC car in the attic with a built-in tape recording of an injured rabbit that randomly started playing evidentally (I had no idea he had such a sick contraption). So that night I woke up to an open window and the sounds of rustling tin and screaming dying rabbit. After waking to that, I immediately thought about how raccoons liked shiny objects, were nocturnal and did not like being cornered, which did not make me happy about being in that room at that moment. Long story short, I eventually ended up making a break for the door and then returned with golf clubs to find nothing there. Raccoon or no raccoon that time, I can't imagine approaching a large raccoon still. So I guess what I meant to say was welcome, Chris, to head-case. I probably won't be visiting.
