Genital Pictures....oh, and pens
I have seen those but the non-retracting tip is a no-go for me. I've become too used to that now. You can just clip your pencil to your notebook and there is no maring on the page. Edit: I see the 800 has the retractable tip.... Interesting

I have been using a Pentel Graphgear 1000 mechanical pencil (0.7mm, H or 2H) for the last 10 years or so. I love it because the retracting tip means you don't poke holes in stuff. The latest revision even fixed the issue with snapping clips that plagued the design. That said that Blackwing pencil looks pretty awesome....

Yeah, you are right. Of course I can't ride daily though, I have way too many other commitments.

You should learn to make stewed guava. It is one of the things I miss a lot from my carribean youth and I still love it whenever I'm home. Example recipe: http://its-our-life-for-six.blogspot.com/2009/11/guavasguavasand-more-guavas.html Though my family's recipe is slightly different in that we strain off the seeds.

Finished up a 18+ mile lunchtime loop with the group that rides here at the base. Lots of climbing and hard. They do it everyday and are in much better shape than me. Was a lot of fun other than feeling guilty for holding them back.

Nice rack Jeff. Those Kuat racks are beautiful. I half regret I didn't choose to do a rest on type rack for my civic but did a more standard hanging rack.

Awesome ride! Looks like a lot of fun. Trying out riding during lunch hour with the riding group based at the lab I work at. Should be fun!

Raffy just tried "there is no try". It was awesome! Edit: Ken, my apologies for the delayed concern but I am glad your niece is doing ok.

Nice Nate! You're a beast! I can't even believe how powerful the pros are, they averaged 27+ mph for Paris-Roubaix.

Jeff you did great man. I've been where almost where you are. I've lost over 100lbs from my max and I've got a lot of miles in my legs over the years (not enough). I'm a no-drop person myself when riding with friends, it's not hard to make a workout out of basically anything.

I don't know if any of you are into pro racing but tomorrow is Paris-Roubaix. The cobbled classics are the awesome. This is my favorite race of the year. Hope to do the cyclosportive before I die. Edit: it's on NBC sports! Awesome!

Jeff it's not serious. I am referring to the loop with the climbing that we met up and did. Or we could do something different. There are lots of options.

Nothing planned Jeff just mileage. I was planning on my usual shop ride but happy to roll out the trail and do that loop we did together. 9am meet up? I would dump your shop like a hot potato if I was you.

My avid setup is fine I believe. I can't remember much if any noise. Have a good ride tomorrow Jeff. Sorry your bike isn't ready. I would be willing to meet up early. I just dropped by my shop so that they could give me a price on a mid level cyclecross bike for the coming fall )

Raffy I bought the 13 pack of the videos and will try them all gradually but I'll try There Is No Try next. I just ignored the attacks on the last few cycles though, dieting and those videos may not go wo well together and I'm not stopping dieting. I actually have the videos syncronized to my computrainer using PerPro sutdio (http://perfprostudio.com/) so it turns up the power to 120% FTP etc as the attacks happen etc. A friend of mine who's a coach recommended the setup and I must say it's pretty awesome as it runs the video and pauses it etc. It will even work with an ANT+ dongle, ant+ speed/cadene and your trainer model to give you a approximate power from your trainer so you can do it that way if you don't have a power meter.

Looking forward to the pics and seeing the final product. I may have missed it but did you decide on paint and logo? I'd be tempted to clear coat what I've seen so far Getting to work by 6:15am and leaving at 4 to head home to cook dinner and hang out with Ben until bed time (7pm) doesn't leave any time for riding. Not going to change any of it but it's a fact.

Hope that the pain relief continues for you Brent that is awesome! I did an hour last night on the Computrainer with the "Fight Club" training video from Sufferfest. The name of the company is very accurate: That absolutely whooped my ass. It will be a while until I can successfully do those videos but hoping to give it a try 2x a week during the work week. I wish I could ride outside but that's just not possible with the hours I am currently working.

Odd Problem With MS Word
BackBlaze is my favorite of that type. Though I'm honestly not sure how it works with deleted files and if it removes them from the backup.

Fair point in general Nate. That said, in this case the price match is a no brainer from their prospective.
