  1. How about onboard shunt regs, one for each rail?
  2. Very nice, and ... symmetrical. Susy FTW.
  3. My roommate just got a light very similar to that one, for his rifle. We didn't really expect much, but were both surprised at how bright it was(110 lumens I think) and how well it did on the spot beam. Well worth the ~$25 he paid on Amazon.
  4. I haven't laughed so hard since Al commented on my bagpipe dude. Playing myself now. Even more hilarious.
  5. I gave this another go today. I have all the latest firm/soft-ware, using older b/g AE from jp#s. I have the AE, and it hubs internet to 4 laptops from a comcast cable modem connected via ethernet. I tried both analog out and toslink to my ancient 1990's dac, and no pops or clicks that I can hear. The problem I had before(with clicking) was the wrong sample rate output on my computer playback device properties. wrt popping and clicking, bit depth makes no difference, and never has with anything I've used, new or old.
  6. From what I can find, it seems to be a privilege that is enabled by the administrator, under group settings. The necessary buttons and boxes, that the help section at the top of the screen mentions, are not present. IP.Board 3: Personal Conversations
  7. Happy Birthday Doug. Have a great day.
  8. Hippitty Burpdai Doug Old Bean! If I could play, I'de play a song for you.
  9. Can one download or puchase the map for an expensive high end setup? Does it come with a few maps included to begin playing around with?
  10. Did I miss something.
  11. Wes has been kind enough to offer Round 2 for the Neko Loaner Program .
  12. reminds me of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qPgrCFcwFk&feature=related
  13. (ouch) You could always get another amp.
  14. I can't seem to hear detail as well with anything else I've owned, as with the D2000. A very simple mod is to swop out the foam ring around the driver with a Grado L-cush pad. I'm still kicking myself for not asking you to test them last year in Chicago.
  15. I followed you up to this point. I'm not seeing how a resistor, either inside or outside of a global feedback loop, would alter the linearity or phase.
  16. I couldn't get my AE to work, but will check some more tomorrow. Sounds very clean using my regular setup. Lenovo T500/iTunes, Bridge, Gamma2/EAD 7k.
  17. fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
  18. No pictures. Can you draw a diagram to effectively communicate what it sounded like?
  19. I had this problem here while back with a pc using foobar. I think it was the properties of the device, checking or unchecking the box for "allow other applications to take exclusive control of this device" or something like that. Really weird and very annoying. I'll probably remember something else just as soon as I hit the post button. Is this problem with a recently acquired dac?
  20. TTVJ calls them "Grado G-Cushion or Jumbo" pads. Some just say G-cush or salad bowls. What flavor of Grados headphone will you be using for all the testing? I can send you a new pair of HD414 pads if you need them.
  21. AMB sells dynalo and dynahi parts and circuit boards. Even provides matching for the 74 and 170. Yup. You can take 2 dynalo boards per channel, and make a dynamid.
