What did you do today?
Like clockwork the rain started as I loaded the brisket into the smoker. I put a dry rub on the brisket from an Emeril recipe that is very similar to Bobby Flay's rub. I also made a d-_-b oaked coffee stout mop with red onion, garlic cloves, salt and pepper to spray on the brisket every 30 minutes or so for the next 5 or 6 hours.

Post the last thing you bought!

Having heard this cart on the HR-X, I'm not surprised you are both impressed. Congrats Al!

Tethering is the only reason I still have my phone jailbroken. It's not that I use it that much but when I need it, it's great to have it available.

Jp will fall first, followed by Vicki...well me and then Vicki. Actually, listening to my 13's right now and they are still making me happy so I will likely stick with them for a while.

I'm holding at the JH13 for now...unless jp and vicki both cave, in which case I don't stand a chance.- UE18 Pro -- The great driver wars are upon us
Vicki, please pass the willpower.- The Official Head-Case Photography Thread.
Peter, thanks. I was hoping for some pointers since this is all so new to me. The gym lighting did suck and I was not able, on most occasions to get closer than 100' to the object I was shooting. Good point about the IS. I read this on one of the forums over the weekend. I haven't messed with the WB yet so I will read up on it.- Ipod Touch / Iphone
Not sure whether anyone else uses Photobucket but if you do, get the app. This may be old news to some but it works great. I can take a pic with my iphone, upload it, copy the link and paste in a post.- Happy Birthday Grahame!
Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you...- Florida Beer Meet, March 6-7th.
Jeff, I guess it's a Florida Beer Meet March 6-7.- The Homebrew Thread
Picked up the Hop Back kit and this filled with Cigar City Jai Alai IPA. I posted the pic from the car so I will elaborate a bit now that I'm safely in my office. It is a 1 gallon keg that can be used with the ridiculously overpriced tap system shown or one of those table top taps that you see sold for Heineken and some other beers. I may buy 4 or 5 more to use to age beer and then when you are ready, pop on the keg and you are good to go.- The Homebrew Thread
Thanks. I will talk to the guy at the shop about this. Maybe he has a kit that would make it easy for me.- The Homebrew Thread
I'm not sure I can cool to 68 degrees or secondary at 50 degrees. Here is something I can pick up today: Hopback Amber Ale Recipe Details: 7.75lbs Ex-Light Briess Malt Extract(liquid) 2.25lbs Munich Malt .25lbs Crystal 20 1oz Chocolate 1.2oz Nugget (Bittering, Boil 60min) .5 Oz cascade(hopback) .25oz Mt Hood(hopback) .25oz Simcoe (hopback) Wyeast 1056- The Homebrew Thread
I'm picking up another keg today and hope to brew this weekend. Any suggestions on a recipe. I have stout on tap already so I'm thinking IPA. I can buy a kit but if either of you have a recipe they have done or were thinking of doing, post away.- Opinions Sought (remolding of IEMs)
They have a 90 day fit guarantee. They are a hearing aid company and probably have far more experience fitting this type of thing then both UE and JHAudio combined.- The Homebrew Thread
Not surprisingly, I am losing the technology battle.- Opinions Sought (remolding of IEMs)
Maybe I should send my jh13 since there were some adjustments made. What was the turnaround time for you?- Opinions Sought (remolding of IEMs)
Nate, the place in Florida is Fisher Hearing, I believe. I have a pair of FreqShows I may send to have reshelled. They do not go as deep as the JH13's and I figure I have them around. If the cost is under $100 I might as well have them reshelled especially since I have an extra set of molds from CJ '09.- The Homebrew Thread
Nice. I'm pretty happy with the way my stout turned out. The carbonation settled down nicely and it taste good. I'm hoping to hit my homebrew shop this week to buy another corny keg and some stuff for another recipe, not sure yet. I was thinking a pliny clone but the amount of hops necessary is out of control.- What did you do today?
Talk about being alone. At least I made it to Roscoe's. - UE18 Pro -- The great driver wars are upon us
