I've only made contact in the event Steve decides to look to trade. Not sure I can do it with a new kitchen, bath and hopefully trip to Europe. At least I don't have to buy one of my kids a car, a third set of braces and surgery (not covered by insurance).

It did. I posted it in another thread. After the two shows, I have a new appreciation for Phish. I'm listening to 12/5/09 Charllotsville, VA show in FLAC-HD from livephish.com.

Coffee Bacon Stout, interesting idea. I have some good turkey bacon in the fridge.

The stout is in the keg. I am thinking of adding 6 to 8 oz. of Sumatran cold brewed coffee. I also have some light oak chips that I am considering adding in a grain sock. I think I would boil it first so some of the stronger flavors of the oak leeches off.

I'm going to wait for you guys to have you set ups finished and copy what you guys end up with. Although, I'm having a good time just doing it the way I have been, which has been fairly simple and produced good beer.

Phish 12/30, 12/31. These were both great shows. The only other experience that is close to a Phish show is a Dead show. The entire crowd, including me, was up from the first note to the last. Last night caught The Word with a friend at a small local venue. The Word is Robert Randolph, John Medeski and the North Mississippi Allstars. I'm a huge fan of all of them and hearing them together was a blast. Robert Randolph has a way of getting you on your feet and moving.

I will be picking up a used Canon 50D locally through FredMiranda.com for $600 with 4,000 actuations.

I will check out those links. I need to check the sq of my stout today. It's been about 4 days and is probably ready or very close. I need to get another cornelius keg.

Cooked lobster for the family, saw an outstanding Phish NYE show, took more than an hour to get out of the parking lot and then had to change a flat tire in downtown Miami at about 2:00 a.m. Oh yeah, ran into this guy:
