They are just phones.

Happy Birthday Vicki!

I like gear and camping, so I'm in for whatever Jeff plans, with Peter as our guide but only if Edwood joins us. I know Jp is in.

I was doing mostly rucking which requires more weight, not less so my packs are heavier than the typical hiking/backpacking pack. My 26 liter GR1 weighs in at 3.20 pounds. I would like to do some backpacking or slack packing (multi day trip but nights spent in hotel, no camping) trips including something with Peter out west. Having shoulder surgery in November so hoping it will allow me to get back to carrying some weight on my shoulders. I have the same water bottles, a Source Bladder, first aid kits. When we hike with elevation, we use aluminum hiking sticks with cork handles. They were great when we were in Oregon and the Adirondacks.

Typically, I use a Goruck GR1 or Vertx EDC Courier. I don't remember what I had in Tampa at Hunahpus Day. I have sold some bags since then so not sure what else I may have had at that time.
-
Carl, check out the Vertx EDC Courier (I use it as my daily carry case) and the EDC Satchel. Goruck also makes a 15L Shoulder Bag. I can get you 20% off of any Goruck bag.

I know the feeling. I did 51 miles this week. First time on the bike since last December in Sebring and 6 months before that. The jury is out on whether cycling is any better for my shoulder than Orange Theory.

We all had unlimited and rarely beyond 1.5 and as much as 2 on occasion for me and my kids. With ATT Next, if I buy everyone phones it still cost less per month than what I was paying. Consumer Reports says iPhone 6 and Plus not as bendable as being reported: http://www.macrumors.com/2014/09/26/consumer-reports-iphone6-bend-test/

Not down here or most places I've traveled. My house sucks, now use a micro cell which gives me 5 bars. T-mobile and Verizon are the same at my house. Apparently my town does not like cell towers. I would love to switch to T-mobile for even more savings but not sure it will be as good as ATT. I did a week test drive last month but a kidney stone got in the way of any real testing.

I have 5 phones on an ATT Family Share plan with 15 gb shared data everything else is unlimited and pay about $260 with taxes. On the old plan, with 4 phones on one plan and my phone through the office it was about $450 maybe a bit more. I get $25 off each line as long as I use ATT Next to buy new phones.

We discussed the various possible scenarios and the costs. I knew it was going to be a minimum of $150. They knew if the side which appeared undamaged was okay then they had the go ahead for the other side that was obviously damaged. I expected it to be more. They repaired them on Wednesday and shipped that night to get them to me the next day. I did expect to get an invoice sooner, it all worked out in the end and I'm happy with the result.
-
Update, invoice arrived last night which is what I expected. I thought that they would let me know the cost before they did the work but we did speak once they received them so she kind of new my parameters in terms of what I was willing to pay. The cost is $218 to recase, new set of drivers on one side, clean everything which I thought is very fair. Essentially, one new earpiece for less than half the cost of a new pair.
-
The new cables appear more substantial than what they used to use.
-
So a while back I washed my jh13's and one earpiece had a hole so the drivers got wet. Decided I had enough, put them in a draw and forgot about them. A week or so ago, I decided to see if they could be fixed, knowing that they were out of warranty and my fault. I'm figuring that it's going to be somewhere between $150 for a reshell and $500 for replacement drivers and reshell. Got them back today, new drivers on one side and a reshell. I then got an email advising what they did. Nothing about the cost. I assume they did it for free but did ask whether there was a charge. So far nothing. I've some bad experiences in the past with them but I have to say that they went above and beyond and I just thought I should post about the good since I've posted about the bad.

From Macrumors. I hope it helps: Update 3: It appears that option-clicking on an iOS 8 file in iTunes will allow users to fix the issue without a restore. iMore has outlined the process: 1. Download iOS 8 for iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus 2. Option (Mac) or Control (Windows) click on Update. 3. Choose the iOS 8 firmware file you downloaded in step 1. 4. Let iTunes do its thing

Congrats on the house!

I'm thinking of picking up a DC-1 and either the Stealth 6 to replace my Airmotiv 6 or a pair of XPA-1L amps and some Tekton speakers. I am an e-club member so I get an additional 10% off of these prices.

Hate? Really? You guys really have to be kidding.
