I did a comparision although it was a quick one. As good as the Pico is, and it is good, I preferred the Duet. It was a while ago so I don't recall the specifics but I do remember that the Duet won out.

x3 on the mac mini > duet > 1 tb drive.

I'm just kidding around. I was blaming stevieo and someone posted it was Vincent so I just went with it. However, if I am out there, I will stil take you up on the offer.

Keep them Jack. Rumor has it that The Monkey was the guy that drank all my Pappy, when I was blaming stevieo. Granted, I would have blamed stevieo even if I know it was The Monkey.

Some quick thoughts. They look pretty cool in person. The built quality is good. The black piano gloss finish looks great. The heatsinks are warm to the touch but not even close to being a room warmer. I've been using the volume controls on the amps themselves which are not stepped but seem pretty well matched. I had to adjust the gain down on my phono stage so I could get the volume past 8:00. So far, they sound very good. I have no complaints. I have about 2 hours on them as of this post. Nice soundstage, depth as good as the room setup will permit. I was listening to R. Brown and L. Almeida and the bass is deep and controlled. The recording has gobs of detail and these amp reproduce it all. Based upon my recollection of this recording on the Cary, the TAD-125's are right there with it in this category and this recording. You hear all the finger and hand movements on the bass. Jack, the rack is a basic Salamander Archetype 3.0 that Jp gave me when he moved. Nothing fancy but they do the trick.
