Jp and raffy and I did a nice 31 mile ride today in Sebring. The last 9 miles were at a nice pace and then broke out into a sprint. raffy finished ahead of me again but I had a 1/4 mile gap to bridge to catch up to him at the beginning of the sprint.

I did not look at your link. I was just commenting on the fact that there are covers you can use to spare your cleats from abuse.

I have covers for my cleats but learned that they only work if you put them on. For me at least, the chance of the cleats needing replacement in a year is worth the advantages of the pedals but ymmv.

Jeff, I have an extra pair of Zeros that Vicki gave me. I can send them to you to try but you would need to get a pair of cleats.

I have no problem getting in and out of them. Because they are double sided getting into them after a stop is easier than single sided, imo.

I have Speedplay Zeros and love them. Double sided is the way to go.

Now we have to wait for Jp. In the meantime, anyone want to buy a beer collection?

I just read on mtbr that the XO will not be up until mid to late December.m I need to get my X7 order in by 12/5. I guess I can take delivery of the X7 and hold it until the XO is announced and decide. I would be afraid to take it on a trail as I think the return policy is that it must be returned as new. Jeff, that is one sweet ride. I'm getting closer to pulling the trigger on the Airborne Hobgoblin. It's really well spec'd for the price even compared to some of the few leftover '12's. Im waiting for the to announce the price on the XO version.

I had one. It's a good trainer but after about 10 times I decided that riding a trainer sucks. Not a bad price. I picked mine up for $225 on Chainlove a while back.
