Chris, you are right, it's the longer time on the bike that is the problem. Look forward to hearing how the post works out, I was considering one.

I may just flip the stem. I'm a little too stretched out for such a long time on the bike. For the more technical trails, it's fine.

Great time but 27 miles is a long time to be on a trail, especially with a 10 pound pack on my back. Definitely need a different seat and a shorter stem for these longer rides

Nice rides everybody. First day out with Gail in more than two months. We probably should have turned around after 10 miles. She Hit the wall at mile 15.

A bunch of moe. since I saw they are playing tonight. Trying to convince Gail to go. So far she said she liked it, now she is sleeping on lounge out back. Not sure it's going the way I planned.

2.5 hours of trail maintenance, .5 hours of riding wot Jp at the trails, beers and lunch with Jp and a client we ran into, and food shopping for my mom.

I've been gong with my road shorts on the trails. Was wearing shorts over them at first but they just got in the way when getting out of saddle.
