You are one of the rare voices than, as I've read nothing but good about the bikes. I guess I don't have to worry about you buying one out from under me.

I am not saying not to get the Calfee at $1100, if it fits you'd be crazy not to. I was only pointing out that the Vanilla, other than the wheels is a bike that do not come around often, if at all. Vicki, I think you are right, he hasn't taken deposits since '11 so probably can't get a Vanilla, other than used.

If it were not for the 650 wheels, that Vanilla would be the way to go. You can buy a Calfee anytime and have it delivered in a couple of months but it would be a minimum of 5 years to get a bike built by Sacha White. Nothing against the Calfee, it's a great bike. I might wait 5 months for a bike but not 5 years but if a Vanilla came up for sale in my size for $2000, I'm all over it.

Yum, pecan pie! I was going to make one but my son requested a key lime pie. Made two key lime and one blueberry. Turkey is on the smoker. Jp's breast goes on at 1:15 and it's quite a nice breast.

Ribs look good CJ. I haven't tried to grill anything on the Traeger. Thursday, a 19 lb turkey and a 4 pound turkey breast (for Jp) will be smoking on the Traeger.

That is pretty sweet. I think I saw that when it was originally listed. I emailed DeSalvo this morning to go with a Ti road frame. He is getting me an Enve 2.0 fork, which I have on my Gunnar, for close to cost. I wanted to have it painted the color of the bike.
