I'm hoping to compare the LCD-2 and HE-500 in December thanks to John. I really like the HE-500 so far.

Still need to finish the Zhukov bottle but took a break with a Burton Baton.

That would be very cool. I think a weekend with them would be all I would need.

Any opinions on Ardbeg Alligator? Total Wine has some for $119 a bottle. When I saw Incotex I figured it was time to make fun of some of you but then looked them up and they don't look half bad. I think I'll pass on the ones that sell for $395 however.

I was wondering the same thing. The ZD is one hell of an amp for what I paid. Now I just need some LCD-2's to compare to the HE-500's that I am really enjoying at the moment. Miguel, I forgot about that amp. I always liked the MPX3. I may take you up on the offer. KG, you assume I have the skills to make that happen. Wait, you know I don't have the skills to make that happen. I will keep it in mind should this problem happen again. I can't believe I am listening to headphones again and enjoying it.

Shelly, glad the surgery went well and you are starting to feel better. Percocets do deserve a home, but much prefer winters in Florida then winters in NYC. Just saying...

Our bathroom took a while as most of the guys were doing the work on the side but even without that, a weekend seems a wee bit optimistic. We needed a plumber, tile setter, shower door installer, cabinet installer, and electrician. Coordinating them took some juggling. Good luck with the remodel. I would love to redo our master bath but that will have to wait.

It was the pins for the ps umbilical. I should have known since I've owned a few EC/Moth products. The seller told me to try and pull out the pins and it seems to have worked. Thanks again for the help.

So the amp arrived today. I got it set up, turned it on and no sound. I then noticed that the 6C33C tubes were not lit up. I shut it down and turned it on again and slowly the tubes came to life. i had it playing for about an hour and the sound slowly faded as the 6C33C tubes shut down. Any idea on the cause. I am waiting to hear back from the seller and I'm guessing I will need to send it to Craig to repair.
