What are you listening to Part Two
It's on the voices where it's more noticeable. Satchmo's sounds too raspy and breathy, like forced. Ella's has some sibilances. The old remasters don't make those details too evident.

What did you do today?
The only area where I see a possible fissure is in the first two X-rays, where you say, a oblique line in the mid third of the humerus. However it could be an artifact, perhaps for the clothes or a skin fold. In any case it it's where it hurts, it's more likely it's a fissure. Giving some rest to that arm will help to tame the pain, that's sure. Hopefully percocet helps you better than vicodin.

What are you listening to Part Two
Pete, does it sound tending to bright like the remastered CD or smooth and warm like the old pre-remaster CD or the vinyl?

What did you do today?
Manuel, I hope you get well to receive the new year as it should be. Jacob, your pain sounds to me more like mechanical than a side effect of Vicodin. Not that we use that drug around here that much. If the Rx was normal and any bone damage is discarded, looking at the way you use the crutches, pressure points, forces applied, etc might help to alleviate the issue. IMHO if the pain were for a bone fissure or fracture it should have started when you had the accident. However repeating those X-Rays wouldn't be that bad.

yes, but a bit more subtle, as though the blanket were made of silk stockings fabric.

Oh, I've just done this and sound has become instantly much better. More organic. fluid, refined, as in technicolor compared to black and white

Apple Tablet
That's my point, what logic dictates. Having a 7" high resolution display model, a bit pricier perhaps, then a 10", but my friend was so sure the 10" was going to disappear soon...

Apple Tablet
Yep, but that was more than two months ago, and eventually he could be pissed that other companies came out with the very same thing they were working on. I think 7" is a nice over sizing from the iPhone, but still very portable, though not as practicable as the current 10" iPad. Yesterday a friend said -though I ignore his sources- that Apple had stopped current iPad production and they're selling all the stock over the Christmas campaign. They are only producing 7" units right now, which will start selling by late January or February. Not being myself an Apple fanboy, I'm not sure what to think, nor where to confirm or deny those statements.

Apple Tablet
I hope so, now that I'm starting to consider getting one... I'd wait for the next generation though, I'd love it had USB or the retina display. I've heard they can't make 10" retina displays yet, which would explain the 10" models extinction.

Apple Tablet
Do you think it's true that next generation iPads will be all 7" and the current 10" one will disappear? IMHO one of the iPad attractives is its display size.

The Official Head-Case Photography Thread.
Sure, scientific pics also belong to this thread I'd like to see what they did on your bones and how the fracture lines looked. Before becoming an ENT resident I was for 3 years, while at college, a traumatology intern. Got "some experience" handling fractures, plaster of Paris and all that stuff.

Ipod Touch / Iphone
Yep, it's a cool gadget. Go to iTunes Store and get some free applications. You have games, e-readers, productivity utilities. When connected to a wifi it's an iPhone without the phone part like Grahame said. Mine has no camera, it's a 3rd G one, so yours with the retina display and camera must be even more fun. Enjoy
