  1. Nice? Great? That looks foockin' awesome Andy, I wish I had the time, place, knowledge and skills to do that. Congratulations
  2. Happy Birthday (again)
  3. Issue solved. It probably was related to the iTunes version, but once the upgrade ended, in the applications window appeared the link to update them. Also in the iTouch when connected to the wifi. It also updated the remote. Now will have to check whether the slight issues with the folders and jpg files are solved.
  4. Perhaps it's a country dependent issue, this damn iTunes gets me into the Spanish Store, which perhaps doesn't provide the updates link. Anyway, iTunes is updating itself right now, so eventually I can find that later
  5. I must be a blind moron, I haven't seen that "updates" link or menu. Not on the applications part of iTunes, nor into the store. Manufacturer hasn't replied so far, maybe if there's that link he thinks I'm an idiot, but I haven't seen it anywhere.
  6. I've seen there's an upgrade from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1 which was issued the very same day I purchased mine. I have no idea if it's possible a free update using that damn iTunes Store -it doesn't look like it is- so I've contacted the manufacturer. I'll keep you posted, I think it's interesting knowing the kind of customer service they provide. I hope you like it blessingx
  7. Happy B-Day!!!
  8. To whom could be interested. I've been toying lately with the flac player for iPhone, iTouch... This thing works well, allows to play flac files on the iTouch, so I don't need to convert the flacs into alac or lossy files. It plays even high resolution files. For having folder navigation on the iTouch, if you load many albums it becomes less "nice" to surf them.
  9. Happy B-day (belated I guess)
  10. I want to see pics of Reks using crutches and his air splint Get well!
  11. So you're suggesting the Stax are giants to only the eyes of a few, but in truth they're piles of stone like windmills? Like that image
  12. London Symphony Orchestra, Colin Davis - Handel, Messiah (B&W 24 bits flac)
  13. Amazing pics. I'm glad you had that great time, and a bit envious too
  14. I'm very sorry for your loss Steve, my condolences to you and your family. Jacob, that sucks and your description of the injuries sounds awful. I wish it's not surgery, but I'm afraid it will be. Get well. Best of lucks.
  15. Never tried any noise cancelling phones, but I've received good comments of the Sennheiser PXC250 and they're not expensive: Amazon.com: Sennheiser PXC 250 Active Noise Canceling Headphones: Electronics Maybe worth a try. These aren't circumaural though. The PXC450 look awesome, but are way more expensive: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000R2PC2M/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_2?pf_rd_p=1278548962&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000089GN2&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0H8FYH2867XEXZ2FRVEJ and I haven't received any comments about them
  16. On addition to the professional football players we have many professional pr0n actors (and actresses) who also are very well versed on high quality sound devices for their using Dr Dre Beats. The amateur ones know a bit worse.
  17. hehehe, Spanish (in Spain not Center and South America) pronunciation is more like pres-thin-dee-bleh, though in many areas of the south and Canary Islands they would pronounce it as you said. Completely agree, it's easier spotting flaws on something when you have a high quality reference than when you're left on your own. Very few people have an innate idea on how things should sound. I have yet to try the O2 on a high quality amp. My only decent Stax amp is the 717 and it's now in the UK awaiting some parts to be repaired One of these days I might try a KGSSHV, BH or anything in that range. A matter of patience I guess...
  18. I just changed to my Christmas one.
  19. What a deception, I expected some hardcore pr0n. That must sound amazing with Ultrasones.
  20. LOLz, I happen to use on Chrome the orthographic corrector, so when I use a "too latin" word it complains, then I need to choose a more Saxon option. It complained with prescindible, then I googled to find it's actually an English word with the same meaning Then I decided to leave it hehehehe I haven't listened to the HE-60 or 90, but I suppose they have more virtues than flaws and quite possible none of the flaws is a deal breaker, which IMHO is one of the virtues of Sennheiser.
  21. Cool, thanks
  22. oh sorry, too latin. Expendable me thnk, which is latin too any Saxon equivalent?
  23. RIP Mr Lennon. If there's been a stupid, avoidable death of famous talented people in history, it has been his. Thanks for sharing the story Dinny.
  24. My hero. We were missing you Elephas Sennheiser and Stax rule. Period. The rest but for a couple of Grado models, is easily prescindible
