  1. I never tried to state otherwise. However, despite my doucheness, I can foresee a shovel coming right up to you
  2. Absolutely you, no doubt about that
  3. Harnoncourt, Concentus Musicus Wien - Haydn: The Seven Last Words of Christ on the Cross
  4. More than European ears they were for German, which aren't much like Southern Europe or British hahahaha. It'd be funny knowing what does the German Grado distributor think of the HF-2.
  5. I like both. The PS-1 fit better my taste for rock. I think the HF-2 are somewhat more neutral so they sound to me more convincing with other music styles. For the price, the HF-2 IMHO are a wiser choice, but the PS-1 bring a smile to my face more often, so I don't regret what I spent on them.
  6. Los Lobos - Goes Disney
  7. I'm in.
  8. The bottom bass line reminds me a lot of Soft Cell's Tainted Love YouTube - Soft Cell - Tainted Love.wmv
  9. Brooklyn Funk Essentials - Cool and Steady and Easy
  10. 50' long and never listened to it fully. IMO not the kind of bonus making the set worth buying.
  11. Glenn Gould - Bach Goldberg Variations (1981 recording from "A State of Wonder")
  12. LOLZ, I was afraid you'd do it
  13. Elmo Hope - Trio and Quintet
  14. Talking Heads - Naked
  15. Cool! May I have my nick changed to Penelopez?
  16. Don Cherry & The New Eternal Rhythm Orchestra, Cond. by Krzysztof Penderecki - Actions and Humus: The Life Exploring Force

  18. Haven't seen the Nook yet, but I agree. I'd like something like Kindle but with a good color e-ink display. For "normal" LCD displays I can use the MBP already.
  19. A color e-reader would be very handy for medical, and probably other technical books. Surgery illustrations look moar better when the blood is red
  20. Had a guilty moment listening to Amy Winehouse and her Live in London. Now back to the classic jazz: Stan Getz and Chet Baker - Stan Meets Chet
  21. Count Basie & Oscar Peterson - Night Rider (1978 ) -damn eight and bracket smily- For the bass line involved on the title tune (and for being OP) I thought it was NOHP involved but no. This is the line up Recorded February 21, 22, 1978: Count Basie - piano, organ Oscar Peterson - piano Louie Bellson - drums John Heard - double bass Nat Hentoff - liner notes Val Valentin - engineer Norman Granz - producer
  22. It's obvious you're still in bed or at work in the US, and today is holiday here. Yep, the defuncts day of the Catholic tradition. Not sure it's holiday over there. Anyway, some more Phineas Newborn Jr - Here is Phineas In this one he sounds more like Tatum than himself. Lovely anyway.
  23. Martial Solal - Live at the Village Vanguard French pianist playing solo. I find him interesting (he's kind of post-bop deconstructionist) for a time to time listen. Fred Hersch & Bill Frisell - Songs we Know Sweet delicacy and ethereal notes
  24. After repeating this: Listened to Steppenwolf - Steppenwolf (aka Born to Be Wild) Now back to more nice hardbop by Horace Parlan - Happy Frame of Mind
  25. Yep, that's my usual way to manage stupid tasks which I don't give a damn to do. Remove cook from the equation, add some music listening, and that's it.
