Revue Thommen Grandville two-tone. Went looking for a custom made watch band for a Pulsar titanium solar watch that won't fit me, and instead I got a screaming deal on this (new old stock). They look very similar, but this is nicer. Although now I'm thinking maybe I should give my step-dad a nice watch for father's day instead of the usual gift cards for a nice meal. I wonder if this would look better on a 6 foot 2 inch retired 79 year old bald jewish man...

Woo Hoo! Just watched the Avs beat Minnesota 5-4 in OT. (PS - the Blues are pretty damn good too, I was at the Avs vs Blues game March 7th when they kicked out butt. We've been lucky so far, and I'm rooting for Avs all the way. Game 2 on Saturday...)

Is it that way with all KGSS vs KGBH or just the ones that you built? I know my KGSS is brighter than my KGBH, but I'm not sure I would describe it as better rather than just different. The KGBH is definitely a little more refined sounding, and not as forward and aggressive, with noticeably stronger bass. I was only going to keep the KGSS for a "short while" and ended up still having it a year later.

As far as I can tell, the only difference in the $500 pair is the original boxes.

Yeah, poor choice for mono-pod and wrong camera, etc. I found my wife's tripod today, so I can try that in October when the next eclipse comes around. Still the wrong camera though.

I am so much fatter than that guy that I'm jealous. This one too.

It's snowing again - we have about 3" outside right now. Now as much as the 6" we had on Sunday. But it's gonna be wet and heavy and melt fast tomorrow.

Using the remote is about the only thing I'd suggest. Nice photo!

No, just letting Justin know that I still recommend the iPhone > CCK > Pico DAC + Slim often.

I upgraded the transformers in my ZDT amp, and use a $30-40 Ironlung Jellyfish cable.

The draw for me to get IEM is the ability to get a custom fit for comfort, isolation, and ease of one-handed insertion and removal. Universal fit in something like the Roxanne doesn't appeal to me much.

Bought a purple set for my daughter, and then a black pair as an extra mainly because we needed a mic cable with volume control (3-button) that's better than the $8 one on amazon (for a ski helmet headset). V-MODA is out of those cables until the end of the year! The isolation is actually fairly good and the sound is okay I guess. It's a little dark and warm sounding, lacking sparkle in the highs, but it's not entirely dull or devoid of detail. But they're no HD-25 or M-80 for sure.
