Stax SRM-T2
This was the 'Concorde moment' of Stax, and probably it will always be. Beautiful.

The black ones were a later series made by new Stax methinks.

Happy Birthday to both of you!- The Headcase Stax thread
The 007t's main 'problem' is called 717 I guess.- The Headcase Stax thread
It should sound the same as the SRM-T1S. And since that particular amp was packed with an SR-Omega which was made by old Stax, there should be no cost-cutting involved.- The Headcase Stax thread
I ask it again: anybody interested in a group buy for that?- The Headcase Stax thread
Another wrote for the normal bias Lambda + T1 but with a good speaker amp an adapter isn't bad either.- Happy Birthday AnalogPete!
Happy Birthday Pete!- Omega 2 vs K1000 shootout
Sigma 404 is probably a bit different and also if you are driving it with a Blue Hawaii that makes a difference as well- Top Gear

Nice write-up, it would be interesting how an O2 would do on lesser amps.- Happy Birthday Contrastique!!!!
Happy birthday!- Happy Birthday tkam
- Happy birthday to Torpedo and laxx!!
Happy birthday!- Omega II or HD800
The answers can be found in the Stax thread. Yes, there are differences and it does matter what amplifier is used.- Post the last thing you bought!
Lambda Pro + SRD-7 MK2 wait...what's that stupid "Signature" writing on the dark brown housing? I've been scammed, damn... ... Oh what the hell, the Lambda Sig rocks- cheep balanced DAC?
I heard October for the Gamma-2- Happy birthday Icarium!
- Omega II or HD800
A few month ago, a fully repaired (brand new) HE60 was sold on head-fi for 1650$ and now with the HD800 being available, it should worth less than that.- HD800? Another rumor?
Forgot to mention, there is an SRM-T2 in my country, which might be for sale in the future. About the price, I only know that it's 'not cheap'- The Headcase Stax thread
Ok, will try tomorrow It looks much better in person, too. The Lambdas look very cheap in comparison. But I don't feel heartbroken for desperately wanting one, good job that I only have a T1S, because the SR-Lambda seems to be the optimal partner for it- The Headcase Stax thread
Yes, the condition was not tip-top but the sound quality was. When I rotated the earpads, the outside ring with the cable always wanted to move so I had to hold it with the other hand, is that normal?- HeadAmp Pico USB DAC
I don't know much about CD players, but I compared it to a Sony 555 SACD player today. (using the input selector on the SRM-T1S with SR-007 MK1 and the same ICs) The Pico DAC held on really well while costing a fraction of the price and being much easier to use. The sound stage was a bit bigger and the sound was a bit smoother on the SACD player overall but the difference was quite small, both sounded very good. Pico will definitely stay for a while I guess - Happy birthday tom hankins and nor_spoon!
