Send in a Stax adapter and a BHSE, let them enjoy them a bit so in the end they will manufacture it again

Driving an Omega with SRD-7 Pro might not be the best idea, it will sound dark while loosing some detail ability as well. With a speaker amp like a Beta22 it might be better but then you are better off with a 717 or a KGSS. Custom transformers also work better than the Stax ones.

Is it true that somebody did manage to copy the SR-Omega drivers? I remember reading something like that in the HeAudio thread.

I had the SR-404 LE for a week (borrowed it from my friend) and I think that this is the phone the normal SR-404 should have always been. But I think the premium for it is a bit too much. I'd rather have a normal bias Lambda if I could find one (But I only heard the 404LE with my T1S, maybe it is much better on a moar powerful amp, different source, etc...).

You can use both normal bias and pro bias phones with it but you can kill a normal bias phone as well, if you plug it into a pro bias socket. It is probably not a wide PC-OCC just the normal one so - in theory - it should degrade the SQ a bit unlike the current extension cables.

I tend to agree completely. But after hearing it with a 717, one can instantly tell that it is an amp that was designed with the O2 in mind.
