I'm using the Speck case with the tartan cloth background. It looks nice and protects well, but it is effectively impossible to remove once you put it on, and the JH13 doesn't fit super well. I'd try another, were I able to do it again.

I hope you won't, as I've placed an order as well. Part of me feels like this thing has jumped the shark already, but that's an odd feeling to have about a piece of electronics.

This is actually a very logical plan. We all like headphones, of course, which are very portable. We also all like large quantities of beer, which are less portable. We all drink copiously at headphone events, as well, but have to compromise our drinking on the basis that we're not at the largest collection of beers in the world. More sensible to bring headphones to a party than to bring a party to headphones.

Just finished hardwiring my network on a decent gig switch. Still not getting much content into the system faster than 2 mb/s or so, but now it will move around pretty quick.

Yeah, It'll probably be gone by my saturday session. Happened to a few of the super-hyped beers last year. My other option was to go early and get all the beers, but go alone. I consider my decision to be my vote on the true importance of beer.

The problem comes with how difficult it is to describe the fitness of an output stage in a bullet point. One has to either be Colin (or Marc, or Naaman, or anyone but me), or just buy the thing and listen to it. And if there's one thing I hate about music playback equipment, it's listening to music.

As I'm sure you're aware, Dan, that recommendation will be well heeded. Yours as well, Erik, though much of what you've listed I can buy with frequency here, and as such am already in love with. Bend is new to me, however, so I'll give them a spin.

Weirdly, the last naked dream I had was 4 years ago or so, shortly after I got married. In it, I remember feeling awesome, like I was naked in a public place and no one could do anything about it. My subconscious has since found other ways in which to needle me.

I'll try to make it out. I like that part of the country.
