Maybe it's because I usually associate "hot" with "metal".  And Kylie Minogue.  So it sets my expectations incorrectly.

Following last week's teaser trailer, Neko Case has confirmed that her new album, The Worse Things Get, the Harder I Fight, the Harder I Fight, the More I Love You will be released September 3 via ANTI-. The first single from the record is "Man", which features M. Ward on guitar.

Tour dates are up... Already bought tickets to the Oct show in Durham... I saw her there shortly after her last album dropped... so excited.  She's one of those artists that just speaks to me in ways I'll never really get.  If she and Ani Difranco did a show together I'm fairly certain my head would 'slpode.

Yeah, I picked up a couple of tickets for her show in Boston. If Lauren and I are ready to leave our by-the 10 week old with family for the evening, it'll be a great night out. If we're not ready, I'm sure I can rope Nate into joining me!
