March 16, 20242 yr I saw this on a friend's FB page and I can't stop singing it in my head and I have played it many times in the last few days. The three part harmony, Rick Moranis' guitar solo, Eugene Levy's fake teeth and John Candy's wig and catch in his throat are all hilarious. These guys are so damn funny and SCTV was amazing. Decent!

They were the first (and maybe still one of the only) idol groups to perform with a live band rather than backing tracks. I think the Kami Band backing them is really tight, but what do you expect from professional Japanese session metal players? Obviously crass commercialism is a part of the genre, but they are a little less gross than their peers.
