Just to make sure, I've gone there now and definitely the Qables view won't work for me either on Firefox nor on IE7. It automatically leaves me on the default view with the damn left column ads :mad: Maybe it's just working for the Supremus or any other requirement should be met that I miss.

I remember that by May or June the contributors could get rid of the left column ads. Then, by July or maybe August, the lower window with several sponsors appeared, and choosing among two of them, you could get rid of the ads. That lasted only a month or so, and you didn't need to be contributor to enjoy the feature. For some weeks there wasn't any chance to get alternate "clean" views until the Qables thing which appeared about 10 or 15 days ago. I've been trying hard to make it work, but it won't for me.

Suggestions??? hehehehe

There was an extension for Firefox 2 called "RemoveItPermanently" that allowed you to block certain website content. Fitz described the code required in this thread: http://www.head-case.org/forums/off-topic/3230-way-go-head-fi-3.html

It worked great for me, but after updating to Firefox 3 I haven't tried to get it working.

Thanks Deepak. I found the code, but I don't have the slightest idea on what to do with it :palm: I added it after the URL replacing the * and as expected, it didn't work at all. I suppose I should get into HF and pasting the code somewhere into Tools or properties, but my ignorance about html and browsers doesn't help much.

Download this extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/521

Go to Tools-> RIP Options

edit one of the other preset websites (I edited "Boing Boing") to have the following:

Done everything and now working perfectly ;D. Thanks a lot mate, I don't have a wide screen, still using my 3:4 21" CRT Philips monitor, so when they post big pics, those ads became very annoying to see the whole post.

That's awesome! I can't wait to see what they have her do and say in the Movie, cheesy politician with cheesy porn is a mix for success!

I wonder if she is going to get Boned by some dude playing Obama, Thats to good!

Trust Billy (and his Coffee) for the insightful political analysis.

Are you going to Take One For The Team?

If so I look forward to your in-depth, scholarly review of this no-doubt artistic masterpiece.;)

I LOL'd at this for a long time.

Poor kids. One for getting kicked, the other for being retarded.

Not sure, i am too damn cheap to buy porno. I know this dude who always copies movies so i get one from him maybe. you really can not go wrong with porn and politics, its a given comedy! Porn and politics totally go Hand and Hand, people on both sides are bad actors and the better they lie the better they are in their fields. either its a multimillionaire looking for more power above the common person or its a dude with a 40 inch dong looking to score with a women the common man can only dream about, either way we feel like shit afterwards. in politics you lie to yourself believing this or that person is going to make a change and in porn you lie to yourself while rubbing one out thinking your the dude with the 40 inch dong doing the women you have no chance in this life or the next with.

besides Palin is kind of hot, she reminds me of my old manager at the Grocery store, you know the mother with the hot legs and power...
