August 6, 20233 yr comment_918306 Just have to remember to take a couple of antacid pills before hand, as this will give me reflux faster than a spicy sausage. Report

August 6, 20233 yr comment_918312 There are a few meats it'd be very difficult for me to give up. Surprisingly it's not steak. I want a good steak a few times a year, but could easily give it up. I eat a burger about the same amount of times, maybe 3-6 times a year. Again, easy to give up. The difficulty for me would be bacon, sausage and seafood. That would take a real effort. Report

August 11, 20233 yr comment_918674 That curry looks amazing, Grahame! We went to a Vietnamese owned BBQ joint yesterday for lunch I'd read about. The BBQ is fairly traditional with prime brisket, ribs and jalapeño beef sausage, but the BBQ fried rice had brisket and a Chinese sausage that was a bit sweet and yummy. They also pickled their jalapeños in a soy concoction that was delish. Overall, high marks. Place is called Brisket & Rice for those that like to wander Houston... HS Report
