UWisconsin77 = Thief/Scammer

Featured Replies

According to Todd and Skylab and others, this douchey kid, who is also a member here, has scammed several people. He also went by the name Nick20. The details are here but he has Todd's TTVJ/Millett portable and other amps and never sent product on several sales. I guess the other option is that he is dead or in the hospital according to something Miguel Arroyo said, but it seems more likely he is just a prick.

Al moving this to off topic so others can see it, unless there is any objection.

Thanks for the heads up about this guy. Sad to see things like this happen

I read the Headfi thread, it sounds like skylab is taking legal action. I hope he comes out on top and everyone else gets their gear or money back.

Thanks for the heads up about this douche bag.

How does someone go from pages of perfect feedback to becoming an outright thief? I mean WTF? :palm:

Its such a shame too that Rob (skylab) got taken advantage off. He is such a nice guy.

Its kinda frightening knowing that prior feedback means jack shit. :(

I don't think it does. It's still pretty unusual for someone to go from consistently dealing legitimately to suddenly ripping people off left, right and center. I'll be interested to hear the details when this is all settled.

I don't think it does.

Yeah, its just to be used as a rough indicator. But still...

From perfect feedback to this? :o

I'm also interested to see the details when the dust settles. :police:

I bought an item from him, with no problem, on the ''other site''.

^ I bumped into Trose49 on a gun forum trying to organize a group buy for night sights, which, according to others, didn't even fit the gun.

oh....and don't forget oicdn for a like situation....ugh. Hate hearing this stuff. Go get 'em, Mike.

*shakes head*

Yeah, I hate hearing about this kind of stuff too, gives me the hibbie jibbies.

We should round up all these :asshat: and stick them in a cage where they belong. :stick:

I wouldn't think that scamming on gun forums would a long-term occupation.

It's happened before...

If I remember correctly, and I do, this whole mess was the origin of my first ''not so nice'' private/public encounter with their mod. staff....

To this day, and strangely enough, I'm sort of proud of my 6 months ban for standing up against their legal interpretation of the buyer beware principle in that specific case....:P
