Ok folks I know some of us are still nursing hangovers from CanJam but there seems to be enough excitement left to schedule one of our regular meets. Date Saturday August 8th from 10am to 6pm Place TBD I am speaking with a few places, the Hilton Garden Inn in San Mateo is not available on that date so I am checking with other area hotels
June 10, 200917 yr Still thinking about flying out but not sure yet. And a >$300 flight cost puts a definite damper on it. I thought the airlines were supposed to be decreasing their summer fares...
June 10, 200917 yr Just poke around and you should find a good deal eventually. I just booked LAX->HNL for $235 round trip out the door! Oh, and I should definitely be at the meet too.

June 11, 200917 yr What is the driving distance from Stankonia? Well, it's impossible to drive from Stankonia, but my mom's birthday is around that time so I'll more than likely be visiting L.A. I'm sure you're quite aware of the driving distance from there .
June 11, 200917 yr Hopefully it's also closer to good restaurants. San Mateo has some solid asian restaurants. There's also this burger place called Jeffrey's that my dad says is supposed to be solid.
June 12, 200917 yr Yeah San Mateo's Santa Ramen and Little Sichuan are quite great for ramen and sichuan cuisine. Jeffrey's is good too I've heard.
