Defense looked lost from the bits that I saw. :( Oregon's been looking better and better after the Boise incident.

Oregon was fucking impressive today. I'm still amazed at just how dominant their offense was today.

They picked apart Cal pretty handily. I watched that whole game and boy was it painful.

WTF!

Trojans are done.....:mad::confused:

At least there's still the chance of going undefeated in November...

That is all I have left to hopelook forward for. :(

In theory, they could still end up in the Rose Bowl if Oregon makes the championship game. But I'm not deluded enough to think it's actually going to happen.

My hope is an undefeated Iowa vs. TCU showdown for the title! :kitty:

My Wildcats upset the Hawkeyes. Was hoping for that all week riding up to Saturday.

Really scary moment for Jahvid Best. When I saw the abnormal posturing of his arms I thought that was it for his career. Luckily it sounds like he's just got a concussion and nothing more severe like a spinal cord injury. All the best to him.

Go Beavs!!!

Will be sad times if the Ducks keep us out of the Rose Bowl for the 2nd year in a row!

Year before last we knocked them out of the Rose Bowl. Good times.

Awesome that Civil War is winner take all for the Roses this year.

Was reading up on some of the shenanigans in past Civil War games, funny stuff.

Remember: Just say no to Quack!

It was a fun game.

Who won? I gave up TV in 1988, my first year of law school. No longer have one in the house.

I think the Aggie bonfire might be appropriate.

It was a better game than the score indicates because Texas' star QB was injured. His true freshman replacement made a bunch of mistakes, but also brought them within a field goal before the game got out of hand at the end. Fun to watch a kid perform well in a situation like that.

Definitely! He must have been scared ****less when he went in the game but did well under the circumstances.

Normally I catch big games like this at a sport's bar, but tonight was the College's graduation so I was driving home wearing an academic gown with a suit and tie underneath right about as the first half would have been coming to a close. So I couldn't bother to stop, but now wish that I would have.

Agreed. I only started watching midway through the 3rd when I got home, but boy was it fun to watch.

I only watched the last 4 minutes on the clock. I didn't get to see the kid do anything but choke up the ball, throw an interception and otherwise puke his guts out onto the field. The highlights showed the good parts, but damn it was pretty ugly in those last 4 minutes.

I heard he also started off pretty rough, giving up two picks before halftime. But boy I feel bad for McCoy getting injured so early into the game and being unable to play his final game as a collegiate.
