Of course, he also said that if anybody wanted to buy the one you will be receiving shortly he would work out a deal -- it was brand new when he sent it.

I am going to kick you in the nads.

Don't make me go find the quote of you saying that you had to maximize your estat purchases in the short time you had left before the Big Move. Especially because I already tried and it is bitch to find. :P

I hope Jude doesn't shut down this thread because I misquoted you. :sadcat:

Cut me some slack. I'm about to go waaaay out of circulation for several years and have only just gotten the true religion. Must cram as much electrostatic promiscuity as possible into the next few months! :)

I realize now -- after getting the the JFET amp through airport security caused a near strip search -- that I need a plain old IEC power cord for it. Anybody care to bring an extra? Pretty please? :)

NVM.

What you need is something like the SRE-B3. It would be easy enough to fabricate though...

Too bad they use the older Stax sockets which were fixed with epoxy. :( Was there ever any doubt that I've owned a few of these... :D

I think Stretch will be happy to know a certain electrostat amp of mine will be attending this meet ;)

Older Headamp Blue Hawaii.

There will be mad stat amps in attendance at this meet.

Indeed

All righty then. So what time are people planning to get there? And what's the agenda afterward? :dan:

I have procured a little refreshment to optimize our listening experience throughout the day.

Yeah, I might stick a bottle of Corryvreckan in the glove box, too. ;)

Planning on 10/10:30 arrival. Planning on many foods and beverages with friends afterwards.

Son of a bitch, just set up everything at my parents house. The new quad of EL34s I ordered are also duds and the Denon DVD2900 that was in storage is not working.

On the slightly positive side I plugged the TakeT into their Classe power amp via transformer box and the fugly phones are sounding good (as far as the TakeT goes), bass heads are in for some fun. Listening to Rock N Roll Ain't Noise Pollution

Does anyone have a spare CD player with digital out? :'(
