The new quad of EL34s I ordered are also duds and the Denon DVD2900 that was in storage is not working. On the slightly positive side I plugged the TakeT into their Classe power amp via transformer box and the fugly phones are sounding good (as far as the TakeT goes), bass heads are in for some fun.
