Bourbon barrel aged woodchuck hard cider. The bourbon taste is very george stagg. More study of this will be required.

Rittenhouse 25 Manhattan. It is a very nice evening.

That is a pretty big pour Mikey (unless that is a mini bottle and glass).

Think I need a Rittenhouse 25 Manhattan!

Well, someone had to do it:

Bensonhurst

1¾ shot / 50 ml / 1¾ oz rye whiskey

⅔ shot / 20 ml / ⅔ oz dry vermouth (Blanc)

1 bar-spoon maraschino

1 bar-spoon Cynar

Stir over ice then strain in to a cocktail glass. Garnish with a large twist of orange zest (oops!)

First I had a Ransom Old Tom gin old fashioned and now I am having an Old Parr Scotch whisky old fashioned. Wonder what "old" booze I can find for the next one.

North Shore and Dolin Dry martini. I keep seeing Jim posting drinks with North Shore gin. Now I know why. Thank you for the inspiration my southern Illinois friend.

It's very different than any Calvados I've had. It's very good, but it's its own beast. Very complex, has an apple nose but the finish is a date flavor with a mild burn. Maybe I'd describe it as the Lagavulin of calvados.
