Sure, but is that a reason to ban the original? I think the trouble I have with this is that the word is banned without respect to the context of the song's lyrics. I mean, the song ridicules people who use the word. Banning it seems to me to be a step in the direction of ignoring intolerance rather than fighting against it.

Hasn't this been tried time and time again in the US because of UK lyrics using "fag" meaning a cigarette? PC utterly missing the point as usual...
