Speaking of work, eased off today so frame shopped and just mounted the illustrations we ordered for daughters room awhile ago. Let's see what kind of pressure this applies.
I'm glad they made the bass dials more useful. The first thing I did when I got the Roxannes was turn them all the way down. There they have since been and will remain. In that state, I'd hardly call the Roxanne bass boomy. It's more articulate than that of any other headphones I've had. But that excludes a LOT of the best. It's all relative.
It seems like those seeking a neutral signature would do well to pay an extra couple hundred bucks over the JH13s and get the Angies. But based on what you said, I trust you still find one of the FitEar models sonicly superior?
^ Right. I'll try to post photos of the Roseanne Barr/Fran Drescher/Kirstie Alley/Sarah Jessica Parker series tonight. Actually, mad props to Roseanne (and Candace Bergen, Tyne Daly, etc.) for creating interesting female TV characters in the 80s, before the Friends (and clones) cultural tsunami f'ed it all up again.
Ministry - From Beer To Eternity. Needed some nice noise at work. Still funny to think these guys came out with the alt-dance hits "Halloween" and "All Day"
Actually, it looks like a KGST with a solid-state equivalent of the BH output stage (grounded grid/gate) and cascode current sources, if I'm not mistaken.
We got this chef's knife as a wedding present in 1991 and it just broke after 24 years of use I mailed it off to Wusthof for replacement. That's pretty good customer service.
seems like in the world of Lambdas, the only recommended ones are the LNS (discontinued), the SR Lambda nb (discontinued), the 404LE (discontinued), or one of the entry level pro cans (20#). Don't see a lot of love for the higher end lambdas. I also thought the signature was a bit better thought of, but comments on the etch seem to point elsewhere.
