4 pointsWhile on the way from Carson City to Virginia City I spotted something that caught my interest So we pulled over to investigate further And were not not disappointed Turns out it was something that's been going on for 44 years https://www.virginiacityhillclimb.com/?page_id=2 So we carried on, and saw it from the other end4 points

2 pointsThanks for the notes, gents. Didn't even realize Berning was making a Micro-ZOTL 2. I owned the 1 for a while, was pretty darned nice. I even drove some Lowther's in a small room with it. The tech on that was interesting (but above my head); Berning did some neat things to bypass the need for a boatload of tubes in an OTL amp. EDIT: well, fuck....just ordered......2 points

2 pointsThis. Shelly, please think that if all those tiny live beings were so dangerous for our health, we wouldn't have made this far as species. There wouldn't be people alive in most of the planet where sanitary conditions are simply nonexistent.2 points

1 pointMachine-era.com makes my front pocket wallet and I'm very happy not having a big wallet in my back pocket. Cards and license are protected and I can strap cash or business cards front or back as well1 point

1 pointYou know your business better than I, but it seems like frequently sending a WOL packet is less trouble than periodically backing up your entire NAS to a non-redundant drive for the sake of backblaze.1 point

1 pointShelly, I received a gift "parachute" (nylon) wallet I believe from that site and liked it quite a bit. Lasted for far longer than most I've had. Eventually I went smaller with one from http://www.amagpoc.com (there are lots of similar out there). Suspect I'd prefer the former for rear pocket (where thinner matters) and latter for front (seems like s second, smaller phone in the other front pocket).1 point

1 point1 pointYou don't think it'll draw the cockroaches away from the house? But being dragged onto your driveway last time indicates there's something that "outweighs" the roaches, so...never mind.1 point1 pointA nice night last night at a neighborhood party/get-together, followed up by a nice day today at a couple lakes in NH. Obligatory beer on friend's porch @ Blaisdell Lake, served up with 2 grilled pizza's with fresh ingredients and a nice pre-cooked dough. Prosciutto, cheese and caramelized grilled peaches on one, was that ever delicious! Later, a nice tour boat ride all around Lake Sunapee
1 point1 point1 pointChicken and waffles and gravy. Ridiculously good. Fresh squeezed mimosa not pictured.1 point1 pointI watched this entire show this weekend. It's fantastic. Season 2 comes out in a couple of weeks, and I can't wait. **BRENT**1 point1 pointThis was in New Haven. US Open tickets are stupid expensive, and they generally suck as the good seats are sold to corporations leaving actual tennis fans to sit in the second tier. So we tend to skip it. We did go to Montreal a couple of weeks ago where we got to see Nadal play.
