  4. Pork loin, cooked in the InstantPot pressure cooker with cauliflower, onion and celery. The pork is then pulled and put on the Weber to sear. The veggies and juice then go into the Vitamix to make a gravy, added to sauteed Portobello's. Add roasted asparagus with a fresh raspberry sauce and we have an awesome dinner. 8. At a BBQ place 10 minutes from home to see bluegrass boys The Hillbenders do their "Opry" version of The Who's Tommy. Tiny room, less than 100 people. Saw these guys last year and tonight should really rock. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. That was really good, Steve. So sad though, because despite the obvious shock and surprise and all of the joy that it brought to him, you can also clearly see that the brain damage had set in and he already wasn't himself at that point. He had regained his title by beating Spinks that year ('78), but it seems that the head injuries probably traced back a couple of years earlier to his 3rd and final fight with Norton in September of '76 at Yankee Stadium, which I remember clearly because it was my 14th birthday. But it's really hard to pinpoint. Late in his career from age 33 onward, most of his fights went the full 15 rounds, ending with the two very sad fights against Holmes and Berbick when he was only in it for the money. Those last two fights did untold damage and it just wasn't right. Yet, I don't think anyone anywhere near the condition he was in before the Holmes fight could ever get medical clearance again, so perhaps there may be a silver lining in there somewhere.

  11. I went to the PRS experience yesterday and did not buy a guitar, but I made a pink purple thing at the staining table. Then I went to a Maryland restaurant and ate crab cakes made from fresh Maryland crab by the water and drank a vodka tonic made from Maryland vodka which was actually quite good -- went to a Maryland liquor store and bought a bottle of said Maryland vodka ("Sloop Betty") and some cherry bitters.

  14. There is no stirring up shit here, the WEE is destroying headphones and Woo do fuck all about it. In fact the boxes are sent back, "tested" and there is miraculously nothing wrong with them. I've seen two of them where the bias supply was an old flyback unit which is completely incompatible and on top of that...no ballast resistors. No wonder the fucking thing hummed like mad and Woo "found nothing wrong with the unit". The entire bias supply was ripped out, fitted with my bias board and has worked flawlessly ever since. This is a problem we are going to see a lot of in the future as more and more amps will be built but the people doing it don't have the knowledge to do it properly.
