4 pointsGrahame, I owe you a big apology! That one time when we were riding together and you kept telling me how much you liked sausage rolls, and I got really quiet, and it got really awkward: Well, I didn't realize you really meant actual sausage rolls. My bad.4 points

4 pointsI've driven some pretty damn big motorhomes, I'm always sober and I don't eat as much as it would appear that I do. That's my resume for the designated driver position (disregard the snoring issue).4 points

3 pointsDamn! Would I have loved to be in that audience! Glen Campbell, Bobby Bare, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Chet Atkins, Roy Clark and Crystal Gayle! And that's just the few I could readily pick out from the camera angles.3 points

1 pointRIP, Don Baylor - baseball great and overall good guy, much too young to die, at 68. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/08/07/sports/baseball/don-baylor-dead-baseball-mvp.html1 point

1 pointBeautiful. Steve could drive that and I bet we could set up a snore-proof chamber in the 497 cubic feet of storage area underneath the bus.1 point

Actually, Instrumental Stoner is pretty chill. It's the musical equivalent of comfort food. That said, going to go even chiller, with How to Disappear Completely, Mer de Revs I & II.1 point

^ I'm gonna have to chill you guys out with some melodic, calming melodies. Rammstein vs. Bernstein.1 point

1 pointTacos at the home base of my favorite taco truck in the city, which sadly lost it's spot a block from my office. El Camion is a bit of a walk, but not too bad a ride. They messed up my order on the high side, I only ordered 5.1 point

0 pointsDidn't get the job. I was brought in last week for a first in-person interview, and they hired somebody yesterday, so I'd say that they already had somebody chosen, and were just wasting everybody's (theirs and mine) time due to organizational rules. This would have been an exceptional fit, and I honestly thought the phone call was going to be setting up an interview for the next round.0 points

0 pointsIt's a bit late, but I just learned that jazz pianist Geri Allen died at the end of June at age 60, and that makes me sad. She was fantastic and should have played for decades longer. Fuck cancer! http://www.npr.org/sections/therecord/2017/06/27/534409838/geri-allen-pianist-composer-and-educator-dies-at-600 points
